Rosey Hearts - Koi Maid

OHHHHH I'm here to share with you some very exciting news!!!!  I discovered the fabulous Rosey Hearts via some great FB friends that added me to group.... and LOW and BEHOLD they were doing a DT call!!!!

Well let me tell you about Rosey Hearts digis!  They are totally adorable!  And the work of a Canadian artist!!!!  So when I learned of this I just HAD to throw my hat in for the chance to make the team :)  And guess what?!?  I made it!!!!  WOOOHOOO.  You have already seen 3 of my makes with those fabulous images... but I needed to share a little card for you to celebrate this great news.

I'm using the great Koi Maid that took me FOREVER to make... I decided to not use a regular DP but instead challenged myself to use my scrap piles... why I do that?!? I don't know I just like doing stuff different I guess.  So I used my Large and small circle from Spellbinder with a bunch of scrap papers and made my background... yeah... it's one thing to put it down it's another to have to glue it after lol

But it was worth it... I have some crafty friend's who's birthday is coming up and I think this will be PERFECT.

And yes before you say it... that's a new stand lol.  So for this I used a bunch of different blue circles but then figured since I was doing the Koi in orange... I should put some orange as well.  And this is what I did.

Here's a closer look at the digi that I colored with my copics.  The great sentiment is from Create with tlc
This is the very 1st time that I use soooooo many scrap piece of papers... took forever but it was fun to reduce the pile!!!!

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

  1. Fab n funky challenges - Focus on image - That's what I did here with the circle to remind you of the bubbles and the colors as well
  2. Scrappers-delights-challenge-blog - Anything goes
  3. Word art wednesday - anything goes
  4. Conniec an crop - Birthday wishes
  5. Kit and Clowder - Fantasy challenge
So that's it for me for tonight.  Yup I'm doing better... doing some Hot yoga... and trying to rest and get energy back.  I don't do as much as I used too but I'm way better than before so that's fab news :)

Hugs
