Teenager - The East Wind
Wow there's a brand new release image from The East Wind and this time it's about a Teenager!!!! and boy oh boy do I know about those! I have 4 in the house! And of course I still remember those teenage years... not the best of my life.
So that's what I decided to journal instead of talking about one of my kids lol Just in case they read the post and then later say how I was just HORRIBLE... they could still say that but I'm trying to avoid as much as possible :)
I thought it would be a fun time to use my home made puzzle stencil. So that's what I did with some of my pan pastels. The background was done in grey and then I used the orangy/yellow for the puzzle pieces. I added some real puzzle pieces that I painted with some black acrylic paints. The puzzle was purchase at a thrift store on vacation that helps for the animal shelter! So a win win! I added some journal tags from the project life. The writing was done with my fountain pen but one that you have to dip in the ink! That was my 1st time doing that and I have to admit I had lots of fun doing it!
I used a great sentiment from the new club over at Create with TLC. I also added some washi tap and did some doodling. I'm getting more confident with my doodling which took a long time lol.... but slowly getting there. The words on the right hand side are from one of those find the mystery word books that I purchased while on vacation. It's the 2nd time that I use it for my journaling! So a pretty good investment so far.
