Ike's challenge - Christmas in July

Hello everyone!  It's time for a new challenge over at Ikes world challenge blog and this time our challenge for you is Christmas is July!

So for my card I had fun doing a card with Poinsettia cluster.  I thought it would make a fabulous Christmas card.
The paper for this card is from Pink Paislee - Snow village.  I used my label 11, grand label 11 and my grand circle from Spellbinder.

Here's a closer look at the digi that I colored with my copics.  The sentiment is from Create with TLC

    I really like visual interest you created with the three different die cut shapes. That could have been distracting but you made that work with the use of color pulling it all together - well done Vicky!

DDC#47 - Winter blues

Hello everyone!  It's time for another challenge over at  Digi darlas !  This time it's about winter blues!  Yup I've got them by now.... just really really hate winter and looking forward to the warmth coming back. So for my card I used the digi Country star snowman. For my card I used paper from my mind's eye - be merry.  I used my label 28, scallop circle and standard circle.  I added some foam snowflakes.  The ribbon is from EK success - fun fibers and was part of a package I received from Rhonda Sue!!!  Thank you my dear see it's quite useful!
