Scribbles Design - Midway post - Inspiration picture and food related

Hello!  I'm here with my last post for the day.  This time it's for the midway post of Scribbles designs challenge and our challenge for you is Let them eat cake and the inspiration picture is:
frosted hues

So... I decided to make a Father's day card for this midway post... and I used the fabulous digi BBQ Apron that I thought was just PERFECT for Father's day!

So here's my card!  I know the perfect dad to give this too... now if only he could get the bbq grill that he wants... lol
The paper that I used for this card is from Fancy Pants - Happy go lucky.  I added some scrap pieces from my fabric paper from DCWV.  Love the extra texture of that paper!  I used some buttons from my stash.

Here's a closer look at the digi that I colored with my copics.  The great sentiment is from Create with TLC
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

Hello everyone!  It's time for another challenge over at  Digi darlas !  This time it's about winter blues!  Yup I've got them by now.... just really really hate winter and looking forward to the warmth coming back. So for my card I used the digi Country star snowman. For my card I used paper from my mind's eye - be merry.  I used my label 28, scallop circle and standard circle.  I added some foam snowflakes.  The ribbon is from EK success - fun fibers and was part of a package I received from Rhonda Sue!!!  Thank you my dear see it's quite useful! WOW I'm speechless (well almost) lol!  Can't believe I have reached 300 followers.  I seem to be thanking you all the time but I think you really deserve HUGE thank you!!!!
