Ivy Fairy

Today I was checking out blogs as I was taking my coffee and I came across a blog that was showing a new challenge to me.  In order to complete the challenge and get the prize you needed to use one of their digi images.  When I went to check out the post I found some beautiful digis and on top of this I could get another bunch of images for free with my purchase... how wonderful is that!


Then I discovered another new site that had a wonderful sketch.  They have a great artist that does fabulous images... but I had just purchased some... so I will have to wait to get them next time.  Here's my creation!  My candy for the day.
I put glitter on her wings:
Isn't she just stunning?!?  I must admit that I really adore fairies.  This one is Ivy Fairy from Delicious Doodles.  I purchased her at Stitchy bear stamps, they have lots of wonderful digis.

I used CC design butterfly die cuts as well as a quickutz doily for the lace doily underneath.

What's really funny is that once I did the card and I checked the challenges that I wanted to enter... one of them was from Delicious Doodles!  How funny is that!  Hope they like my take on their digi!

Here's the challenges that I'm entering:
  1. Jacksons digital expressions - sketch and pastel colors
  2. One stitch at a time challenge - anything goes (this is the reason why I purchased the digis...)
  3. Robyns fetish challenge - pastel colors
  4. Stampin for the weekend - sparkle and shine (I think my wings definitively qualify ;) )
  5. Critter challenge - Fairy
  6. Our creative corner - butterflies (I have 3 die cuts but I also have the paper underneath the butterflies that has them all over)
  7. crafty friends Challenges - use 2 die cuts (my butterflies and the doily)
  8. Fab n funky - pearls and lace ( I made my lace doily out of paper and added little pearls to the butterflies)
  9. Pile it on challenge - sparkle and shine
  10. Delicious doodles challenge - layers (how funny that I had used one of your image... hope you like! )
So that's it for this Sunday!  Tomorrow I should be ok to do another post... and maybe let you guys know how my cards were liked...

Hello everyone!  It's time for another challenge over at  Digi darlas !  This time it's about winter blues!  Yup I've got them by now.... just really really hate winter and looking forward to the warmth coming back. So for my card I used the digi Country star snowman. For my card I used paper from my mind's eye - be merry.  I used my label 28, scallop circle and standard circle.  I added some foam snowflakes.  The ribbon is from EK success - fun fibers and was part of a package I received from Rhonda Sue!!!  Thank you my dear see it's quite useful! WOW I'm speechless (well almost) lol!  Can't believe I have reached 300 followers.  I seem to be thanking you all the time but I think you really deserve HUGE thank you!!!!
