Rain or shine
Tonight we received really bad news... my mother-in-law who has been battling a terminal cancer for over 3 years had another cardio vascular incident this week (the 2nd in 2 months). This time her speech is affected and after the analysis it was discovered that the cancer progressed to her lungs and liver. She has a few days to a few weeks maximum to live!!!! This woman was so full of life and such a fighter. This is a terrible shock to my wonderful husband. We are all taking this very hard... the kids (my 4 great kids) can't believe that they will be losing their mamy...
Somehow I didn't know what to do with myself.... so I created a card that represents what I'm feeling for my in-laws and I really hope that my little angel can help send vibes to my mother-in-law to alleviate her suffering.

I used my beautiful Bugaboo angel no sunshine and paired her off with a sentiment I got from birdscard. That sentiment seemed quite fitting right now. I colored her with copics and my stickles for the wings. And added glossy
accent to the bottom for the rain and on the umbrella.
I used this cute sketch:
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
- Catch the bug blog - the sketch
- Digi darlas - anything goes with Bugaboo or digi darlas digis
- Robyns fetish challenge blog - pastel colors
- Sassy cheryls challenge - April showers
I would like to ask all that are going to read this post to please keep my mother-in-law in your prayers!!! So that she will not suffer.
Thank you sooo much for your support. Right now this is really
helping me cope with this.

ReplyDeleteVicky, i'm very sorry to hear and your mother in law are now in my prayers... what a wonderful card you create, to show your feelings! I lost my father to cancer when he was still young, to leave this world, and he suffered a lot before he died I remember... praying she won't suffer...
