Mixed media wall art - Gnomo

Image
I've been trying to keep myself busy.  I really need to in order to progress and get my energy up!!!  And this past weekend I had taken a brake and gone to visit my dad.  We ended up making some little wood boards that I could use for my mixed media.  Those were cut by me and and sanded with the big power tools of my dad!!!!  ALL by myself!  I was so very proud! Of course I really wanted to try it out.  And I had won a super cute little gnome image from Julia Spiri over at the FB group.  I figured this would be totally awesome to use on one of those little board as mixed media.  I did a video of that process and you can see it here: Here's my little make for you.  If you want to purchase this little wall art you can do so here .

Sea and Hair - Julia Spiri new release

Image
I'm totally EXCITED to be able to share that I'm part of the new release team over at Julia Spiri!!!!  Such fabulous digis .  There's an awesome FB group as well that is how I found out about them.  And of course you can play in the challenge and have the opportunity to win some great digis. My make was done using the brand new Sea and Hair .  I decided to make a  page journal layout with this.  I have to admit that I'm really really scared of the sea.  I love looking at it. But I know that it's so incredibly powerful and yes I'm very scared of the idea of being on a boat.  So that image touched me a lot. I have been tearing some magazine's apart and I found the great text that I could use on this layout.

Karleigh Sue Challenge - Kraft

Image
It's time already for a new challenge over at  Karleigh Sue  and this time around it's about Kraft! For making this make I used the fabulous  Under construction .  I just love this image because I totally adore making stuff and working with tools so I totally can associate myself with this image. I decided to make something in my journal.... what a surprise right?!? :)   But I didn't paint the background I decided to use some papers from Market special paper.  I also used my Couture embossing folder for this.  I added some black dots for the nails.

MWLW - Frankenbride

Image
Hello everyone!  It's Monday!  And this is the second post of the day.  I went away for the weekend and I have to say that it really really helped with my moral :)  I also found a bunch of goodies at garage sales over in the Eastern Townships. And it's time for a new release over at  My Whimsical little world .  You can always find a little freebie.  You also have to check out the great FB group where Paola offers some freebies on occasion and you don't want to miss those!!!!!   You can find the totally awesome  Frankie's bride  at the etsy store.

You're so wicked - Faery Ink

Image
You're so wicked  was just the perfect image for this journaling. I always have the BIGGEST issue EVER with dieting.... which is why I just don't do it.  Whenever I would like to diet?!?  Just the fact that I'm on a diet will get me to crave DESPERATELY what I'm supposed to stay away from.  So when I saw this image I just thought: "hey she's  perfect to illustrate that!" You're so wicked  is a great little witch but can be used in lots of other settings than Halloween.  This journal was still done in those colors doing a mixed media piece but I'm telling you any day of the year would have applied lol

Today it's my turn to host on the Airless Chamber!  And I'm super excited to participate even slightly to this 31 days of Halloween!  Doing the 31 days is a bit too much for me but I still love to participate because I really do have to admit that Halloween is one of my FAVORITE Holidays!!!  Yup love everything about it! So here's my little make for you.
