A sprinkling of Daisies

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Saturday.  I'm still fighting my cold... ugh... just hate being sick.  It's a rainy day so the perfect time to be in my sweats, drinking a cup of tea and crafting since I can't seem to have the energy to do anything else.  I start stuff and end up going in circles not remembering what I'm supposed to do lol  I'm pretty sure that's why they say on the cold medication not to operate heavy machinery :D Any way enough complaining.  As I was going through the blogs that I follow this morning I came across the Daisy Digi Doodle blog .  And I saw a really cute digi.  I also needed some sympathy sentiment... so I went digi shopping :D ... I know.... I really don't need any new digis... I have tons that are just waiting to be used. But I just couldn't resist and the price was so good!  Only 2$ for a really cute set.   And it was just perfect for their challenge this week so I just HAD to play along. To make this car

WOW I just looooove their images so I was really excited that they were looking for some Guest Designers!  I just had to put my name in!  And I got the 1st spot of Guest Designing at their challenge.   This week at  QKR stampede  the challenge is Fall fun. For my card I got to play with the wonderful digi Prize Pumpkin -14306 and the sentiment You've got something to crow about - 14308. To make this card I used one of my favorite pack of paper for the moment which is Bobunny - Apple Cider.  I used Pumpkin and Label 11 dies to cut out the Digi and the shape underneath as well as the sentiment.  I added some ribbon purchased at Michael's and some Robin's Nest dew drops. I used Spiced marmalade distress ink to edge the digi as well as the sentiment.  Here's a closer look at the wonderful digi that I colored with my copics: I used the sentiment from QKR which is "You've got something to crow about" which I thought would be fabulous for thi

Goodmorning everyone!  Hope you are all feeling better than I am.... my head is all stuffed up still... and I really didn't  sleep well.  I'm really exhausted.  Looking forward to the upcoming weekend to staying in pjs and sleeping! This morning I'm sharing a little card that I made using some of the wonderful new digis from  When the scrap hits the fun .  I went the really lazy route and used the wonderful precolored image to create my card. The paper underneath the digi is also from the wonderful new digi set.  I added some paper from Basic Grey - Nordic Holiday.  I punched some snowflakes with my cm punch and added some bling to them. Here's a closer look at the wonderful digi: And here is the sentiment that also goes with the set: Here's a look at the wonderful set that you can get from  When the scrap hits the fun .  You should go and check it out! Good evening everyone!  Tonight it will be a really really short post... I'm sick... yeah... big man cold... lol... And I was in a meeting this afternoon... so very long day when your head is all stuffed up! So tonight to endure the aches and pains... well I crafted a bit.  Actually last night while I was commenting I came across  Guylous inimitability 's site.  The artist had a card entered in one of the challenges where I'm a dt.  And I saw her work and loved it!  So just had to enter the challenge... well in order to do so I had to create a card.  So here it is: For this card I used some digital paper from Spyder corner it's called Stripes by Lyn I thought it was the perfect background for this sweet digi.  I used also some paper from Fancy Pants - Be you.  I added a charm from my collection .  The ribbon comes from the dollar store.  I used my MS border punch that looks like paint drip.  I added some bling in the corners.  And that's pretty much it!  Li
