Crafting When we Can - Challenge # 28

Image
This week at  Crafting when we can challenges  we are sponsored by the wonderful And our challenge for you is a sketch!  I will be putting the sketch at the bottom of this post. So for my card I used the digi Fairy Sweet from Freshed Brewed design. For this card I used some paper from BoBunny - Alora.  I used a ribbon from the dollar store.  The little metal flowers and corner piece is also from the dollar store.  The brad that is holding the cute little charm comes from Eyelet Outlet. I used my copics to color the image and added some stickles to the wings of the fairy.  The image and sentiment were distressed with Festive Berries distress inks. The sentiment is one from  Create with TLC .  I thought it was just perfect for this sweet image: Here's the sketch that you have to follow this week: So will you be joining us this week at  Crafting when we can challenges ?!?  Don't forget you can only link up to 5 challenges including ours.  It&#

Gingerloft Challenge - In Stitches - Faux or real

Image
This week at  Gingerloft challenge  it's all about Stiching.  Real or faux. Well... I haven't used my sewing machine for real sewing with fabric in forever!  What I've been using it with is for cards.  And this is one that was definitively worth it. For this card I used the wonderful digi from Gingerloft called Panda Lunch.  I did nothing to the image beside a bit of distress ink because it's so fabulous. For this card I used paper from Basic Grey - from the Olive collection.  I use also for the flourish MS paper punch pad where there was the wonderful kraft paper.  The die is from Memory box, it's called whimsical flourish.  I used my Tim Holtz distresser on all the paper to distress the card. Here's a closer look at the digi to which I added vintage photo distress ink: The sentiment is from  Create with TLC  and I thought it was perfect for this card. I hope that this card will have inspired you to join us at  Gingerloft challenge .  I

Bed of Rose

So this is my other card that I wanted to show to you guys.  I used a wonderful digi set from  Create with TLC   you can find it here .  There's lots of wonderful digis with this set: So here's my card with one of the wonderful digis.  I just had to choose one that wasn't done already by my fellow DT :D To make this card I used paper from My mind's Eye - Honey cake.  The lace ribbon is from my stash and so is the button and little ribbon in the button. Here's a closer look at the digi.  I colored it using my copics.  I also used festive berries distress ink around the digi. I used the following sketch to do this card. Since my card had already text with the image I used a button instead of that little text box... And this is also a great inspiration with a song :D  Bed of roses, I added the link to the video for those of you that would like to hear it one more time. Got to love Bon Jovi :D I'm entering this card in the fo
