Princess - My whimsical little world

Image
Hello!  It's time for a brand new release over at  My Whimsical little world  were there's always a great freebie.   You will be able to find the new release images in the store . In my case I used the super cute little princess to make a great little ATC to put in a pocket letter! I'm so very happy when I can start using my makes to make other things then cards.... I have way too many cards and trying to get through the stash of them... The background was made using my oil pastels, baby oil and some stencils from Creative memories.  The image was colored with my copics and then fussy cut.  I used a great sentiment from  Create with TLC I'm entering this little ATC in the following challenges: Simply paper crafts for all occassions  - Anything goes Fab n funky challenges  - Gorgeous girls Hope you have a great Monday!!! Hugs

Voodoo King and Voodoo Queen from SLS Lines

Image
I really love the new release images from  SLS Lines  you can get them Voodoo King  and Voodoo Queen  and I just thought they would be perfect for making some little door hangers. I found those door hangers that you can use chalk on at the dollar store.  And just thought I would make something with them for sure!  At the time I wasn't sure. And when I saw this great couple of images I just knew this would be perfect for my son and his girlfriend! I left the chalk on them but changed the boring elastic for some hair band that I thought would be more fun. The letters that I used are from Anna Griffin and from October Afternoon.  I colored the 2 images with my copics and then fussy cut them out. They came out pretty cool and they were well liked by the recipients so that's all that matters really isn't it?!? I'm entering those in the following challenges: Left of center challenges  - Well I did add the fiber... but I still think this is pretty LOC :) Eclec

The background was made using some oil pastel, stencils and baby oil.  I used some of my melted pony beads dots. I'm entering this little ATC in the following challenges: Dis digi designs challenge  - Summer Inky impressions challenges  - Summetime That's it for me for today.  Yeah short post but I'm not doing all that good... looking forward to the meds make a difference! If you are part of the FB group of  Rick St-Dennis Digis and Friends  you have seen the great challenge that Rick put out there.... and if you didn't well you should be part of the group so that you don't miss out the next time around!!!!!! His challenge was to send an e-mail to him and to put cute/dark/surprise in the title and he would pick what to send to us.  I put surprise of course because I really love being challenged.  That's how I learn and do stuff different! And I just had to smile when I got my digi because Rick sent me Peace Angel .  And since my depression some peace would be totally awesome in my mind.... I've been doing lots of darker pages of what's in my mind lol so this was a nice change! I tried something different... I made some masks of clouds with some post its.  Then I used my Bashful blue, brilliant blue and ballet blue from Stampin up.  I applied it all over and then sprayed a bit of water to be able to blend it better.

Cheese please

My next mini post is about the cute little digi for the great progressive challenge over at  Gerda steiner designs . This time around I made a little toilet paper midori album for a swap.  There's lots of videos out there that show it to you and I did share one in a previous post on Monday. I used some paper from an amazon purchase to crush it all up and create the faux letter effect. The closure is done with elastic bands for hair.  I added some little charms to the side.  The sentiment was done using October afternoon letters. Here's a look at the back of it and the open version with lots of little tags and all kinds of fun things I used a bunch of papers and things that I got in packages from friends and from swaps. That's it entering this little make in the progressive challenge  Gerda steiner designs . Hugs
