Ninja Penguin - spooky Christmas in July

Image
Hello everyone!  We are doing the Christmas in July challenge over at  SLS Lines  and the image that I decided to use for this is from a set that is precolored!  So awesome when you don't feel like coloring it's  Ninja penguins I just thought that would be the perfect image for the non typical Christmas card..... The paper that I used for this comes from an actual Christmas set.... surprising right?!?  It's from Jillibean soup - Holly Berry Borscht.  I used other sentiments from  Create with TLC  and added some hand written words to the 1st one.... the bling is from Studio G gems.  I used my black soot distress ink to distress it and used my fancy tags 2 from spellbinder and my Stamping up project  life dies for the tags.  The snowflake was done with my tattered lace snowflake die. I hope you like my non traditional Christmas card :) I'm entering this card in the following challenges: 12 months of christmas linkup  - went with anything goes Christmas Craf

Hello everyone!  I'm totally excited to share with you something very special that I made for my brother and his WIFE.  Yup my brother finally got MARRIED and I wanted to make something for them that would be unique. I've also been asked many times to do videos... and I was too shy.... but I figured if I was going to do one this would be the time so that I can do a flip through and explain it all to you.  So here's my 1st EVER video.  Hope you like it and give me thumbs up!  This will encourage me to do more... lol For those of you that might not want to see the videos I'm going to share the pictures here.  I won't go in details of what I used because you can see it in the video :)  But most of the sentiments (which I can't tag all here because there are too many) are from  Create with TLC  and I also used some ATC tags and papers from  Ephemeras vintage garden  which has a lot of nice tags for free! Most of my papers are from MME and I used some Martha s

Nina - My whimsical little world

Image
Hello everyone!  It's Thursday and I'm here with a special post about an older digi that you can find in the Etsy store of My whimsical little world it's the great Nina stamp .  I just find her so very cute and thought she would be fabulous for the album that I'm making out of recycled material. If you want freebies and more information don't forget to check out the great blog site  My whimsical little world . The cover of my album was made using a yellow envelope that I painted using my gelli plate.  I stitched all around to make it stronger and the inserts which are all pamphlets that you get in the mail for real estate agent were sanded and then gessoed and painted over using the gelli plate as well.   I used this great image on an ICAD (index card) to cover up the closure of the album. I colored her up with my copics and then fussy cut her out.  The tag was made with an ATC that I made and then I used my new stamping up ornate label punch to make the to

Pretty Sunshine - SLS Lines

Hello everyone! I'm getting ready for my vacation and that means a vacation Smash album to record the camping memories.  So what is better to decorate the pages than some fabulous digis?!?  For this page I'm trying to get Mother Nature on our side and get some fabulous sunshine using the great digi  Pretty Sunshine  from SLS Lines as my inspiration post for this month. Last year I did the pages of my album while camping and that's fun as well but I don't have as many supplies to color and to just add details as I do from home! And that's what happened here as I would not have had the lettering to do this at the camping site! I don't know for you but my kids come back after they are finished school with lots of books that are halfway done.... so I decided this year to keep some of the pages and that's what I used here to be able to journal on pages that would otherwise not be used since there's pictures on them. The digi was colored using my pan p
