I'm so fancy - Karleigh Sue

Image
Ohhhhhh it's hot hot hot over at the new  sexy challenge .  And what better way to share with you how hot it is but with this fabulous image  I'm so fancy I made again a journal page but this time around my background was made using a napkin which is something new to me. The digi was colored with my copics and I found a sentiment that I thought would be perfect for this.  It's if you can't be a poet be the poem.  I think that she totally would be the poem to many!!!!  I'm entering this little journal page in the following challenges: Sugar and betty  - Anything goes Ikes world challenge  - Anything but square Cardz 4 guyz  - No designer paper - I used a napkin that I tore and decoupage on... so it's not a designer paper :) That's it for me for now but I will be back with more! Hugs

Karleigh Sue Sexy Challenge - It's hot out here baby

Image
Hello!  This is my last post of the day I promise!  But this time it's an hot one!  Well it has to be because it's for the fab Sexy challenge of  Karleigh Sue  and the challenge is It's hot out here baby.  For my make I decided to use the fabulous image  Beauty I did a mixed media class about dylusion paints and sprays.  And while in that class I used my left over paints to create extra pages in my book ahead of time.  I had this one with the keyhole that was waiting for something in it.... All the inks were spread with baby wipes to clean out the stencils!!!!  Love love love that way to use the paint to the max. And when I saw this image I just thought it would be fun!  Can't get much sexier than this.

I did some doodling (I'm getting more confident in this) and added a little stamped sentiment for the follow your dream.  The image was colored with my copics. I'm entering this little ATC in the following challenges: Wags n whiskers rubberstamps  - Birthdays Craftin desert divas  - Birthdays That's it for this post!  I will be back later with one more :) Hugs

Oddball new release images July

I'm back!  And this time it's with lots of great journaling that really helped me get stuff off my chest.... I'm not feeling all that good and trying to put a brave front and do everything but it's being hard. And I'm pushing myself to hard and failing miserably.  So when I saw all the great new images from Oddball I just knew that it would make for some great therapy journaling!  And this time around I'm not sharing all I wrote.... some is not good for blogging.... You will be able to find all the fab digis here This 1st one is image 239 and was used in a junk album that I'm making with just recycled material.  The great sentiments are from  Create with TLC  as well as with the set.  I will be doing a video about this album and sharing in more details then.  The background here is done with my gelli plate and some acrylic paints and stencils.  The tag is from a pair of short jeans from my daughter :) The next one is image 241b and I made it with my

The East Wind - Anything but a card challenge

Image
Hello everyone!  It's time for a new challenge over at  The East Wind  and this time around it's about anything but a card! I would say that this in the past would have been super hard but not anymore.... lol So for that I decided to use the fabulous digi  Lucy Loo morning stretch  now I really really wish that I looked this good when I stretched lol.... but you know how much I really really really loooooove Lucy Loo so had to use her on this special album that I'm making for a friend. It's made out of all recycled material that I gessoed and then painted over using my gelli plate.  It's my 1st time doing a total junk album :)  I really hope that she likes it!  I'm pretty happy with those pages!!!!

Tessa - Art by Mi Ran

Image
Well the new showcase challenge for us over at Art by miran  is Cool colors.  I don't  know for you but to me that means pale and blues.... so that's what I tried to use for this make.  I'm still trying to do other things than cards so for this I made a postcard that is being used in a swap over at International crafters over on FB :) The image that I used is  Tessa .  I really love how she looked for this! Our challenge in the swap was to use all sorts of materials we had received in previous swaps and that's what I did here.   The flowers the border and the embossed paper are all from previous swap.  I added the bling and the sentiment that's from  Create with TLC  and that was cut using my Nellie's ovals. I colored this sweet little image with my copics.  And I think she was just perfect for this.  What do you think?!? I'm entering this little postcard in the following challenges:
