ATC - Original art

Image
Hey everyone!  Hope you are doing well.  I spent the weekend at my dad and had so much fun we created a shelf for our garage using some awesome pipes!!!!   I will be sharing this with you later.  I also created a little shelf with him but that too I will share later. I also decided to try making a little drawing and then coloring it with my copics.  And I made the ATC here.  I have a swap coming up and I had thought it might be fun.   This is the 1st time that I color my own drawing with copics.  Please be gentle. When stamping the word Fierce with my Dina Walkley stamp I made a big line over the forehead.... I was soooooo disappointed....   And then I figured I could do a little headband on her.  I'm pretty happy with how that covered up my booboo.... I was at the point of just crying.... lol I'm entering this little ATC in the following challenges: 613 Avenue Create  - Anything goes - optino bird - didn't do that Glitter n sparkle challenge blog  - anything go

Karleigh Sue - New release - oldies :)

Image
Hello everyone!  Instead of doing a new release this time we are doing an oldies make.  And I decided to use the fabulous digi  I'm so fancy  in my "en masse journaling" which is basically a grouping of image and gluing them together.  You have to watch the video from Shannon Green to get the full idea. And so for my very 1st spread I'm doing it about shoes!!!  I just ADORE shoes!  Pens, paper shoes :)  yeah I'm weird I love the girly stuff as well as the crafty stuff.  It's actually an issue if I have to decide what to spend my money on. So that image was just PERFECT for this spread because she's lying on a shoe!!!  I colored her up with my copics.  I did the background with some brushoes.  And then lots of cutting up of shoes from magazines.  I've been cutting lots of them during my lunch hour.  And it's really addictive.  I also cut out the words that would fit with this "shoes, chaussures". My base is a Reader's digest m

Skull Ka bob - RSD metal magic FB challenge

Image
Hello everyone!  It's time for me to share with you my make for the FB challenge over at RSD which is all about metals this month. When I thought of metal it made me think of my weekend not long ago where my internet provider totally MESSED up....  I had told the nice lady that called to ask how my service was that it was going slow and how we were not using the TV service as much either.  She offered to make my internet service faster and cheaper and my tv service cheaper!  Boy was I excited about that.  This was the Friday night.  On Saturday morning while I was out to do an errand a technician showed up.   And since there was no adult home he just said that he couldn't do the job and left. When I got home and I heard this news I was very surprised because that lady had never mentioned that a technician needed to come over... And what was my surprise?!?  Well the internet and tv didn't work.... so now I was getting upset.  I called in support and the 1st respo

Oddball midway post March

Image
Hello everyone!  It's already time for the midway post of Oddball for the Facebook anything goes challenge with an Oddball image. I have been having different issues recently and I wanted to art journal about it!  This time it's all about earlier this month when I reformated the little sd card where I save my digis.  Why you will ask?!? because I was taping a video and it didn't recognize it and asked me to reformat... and me?!? I didn't think about it and just did it and realized after that it was AWFUL that I had just deleted all my digis.... I was lucky I had saved but not all of them back in July 2015.... that's still a whole lot of digis lost.... and then a crafty friend suggested that I try to get them back with some special programs.  I did but they all lost their names and folders :( So now I have to find where they go... and rename them.... So this is the journal page about that!!!!  Using the fab image 288 . I used my distress paint wilted viol

Mail art for swap

Image
Hello everyone!  I'm here to share something new in mixed media for me!  I have done some altered mail for a swap with an old envelope that I got and recycled.  I used a bunch of paint, some stencils and some stamps from Paper artsy (Love those stamps) and some Dylusions stamps (another favorite). I also did some stitching all around.  To fit with this envelope I did a little postcard as well. You can see the making of this on the video here And for those of you that don't want to watch the entire video here is the finished look for the front where the address will go. And the back of the envelope and the postcard I really hope this inspires you!  It was my very 1st time making this but it will not be the last.  I'm pretty sure that others would like to get envelopes like this one. I'm entering this set in the following challenges: Art impressions stamps  - house and home Crafting with an attitude  - anything goes Drs designs blog  - Fussy cutting -
