Hello everyone!  It's time for a new challenge over at  The East Wind . This time it's about a photo inspiration.  Here is the picture that is our inspiration. And so with this I thought a mermaid was just PERFECT.  Here is the inspiration that I have made for you all using this image  Lucy Loo Midnight mermaid . I used my dylusion journal for it and some wonderful gelatos that I hadn't used in a while.  The sky was made with my chalk. I found the sentiment on google.  The wonderful image was colored with my copics and I fussy cut it out. I'm entering this in the following challenges: Craft rocket challenges  - Anything goes Crafting with an attitude  - Anything goes Crafty-girls-creations  - Anything goes Little miss muffet challenges  - Anything goes That's it for this post but there's another one coming up.  Hope you like this and come back for the other one. American Shorthair - The east wind

Hello!  It's Tuesday and it's time for a brand new release over at the East wind  and this one is just PURR-FECT for all those cat lovers out there.  I just HAD to play with him. I wanted to just make a little something not too long but just fun for me :)  And I used an index card that I had already colored while wipping off paint from other project.  It was the perfect base for this. He was colored with my copics and then fussy cut.  The sentiment is coming from a book that I destroyed... well kept lots of sentiments and images from it (and it was from the dollar store).  I finished off the index card by putting the little dots all around with a sharpie pen and doing the edge of the card as well this way. I'm entering this little index card in the following challenges: Crafting from the heart challenge blog  - Anything goes Craft your passion challenges   - Anything goes Stampsfun-creativity  - Anything goes That's it for me for today!  Hope you have a

Other than that... what's new?!?  Well I have done a video to share with you all what I have been up too!  So you can check it out for yourself.  Who knows you might be inspired to start one of those projects yourself :) Have a great rest of the week. A bit of mixed media and prayer requests

Good evening everyone.  I hadn't planned on making a post tonight or anything crafty related actually but I really needed to keep my mind occupied.  One of my colleague left work tonight by ambulance.  She was having chest pains and very low blood pressure.  I would ask for those of you that do pray to keep her in your prayers. The best thing to do was to do some mixed media.  I had just received today 3 stencils from Tim Holtz that I didn't have.  I had played with one while on my mini retreat with Erin and really really really wanted it! I have made a little video of my process here And here are the 4 little cards that I made.  They measure 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches.  I used lots of paints and of course collage papers, magazine cut outs and my new stencils. I really like how they are all different but somehow related at the same time since the colors are all the sames in different amounts.  The base for those is a game.  I just thought it was the perfect size to play
