Nelsa - Karleigh Sue

Image
Hello!  I'm here this time for September's inspiration over at Karleigh Sue!!!! WOW the year sure goes by fast.  The kids are already into school and it's back to the routine.  But I'm not ready to let my summer go.... and this means coloring by the pool. That's in fact what I did here for the background as well as for the wonderful digi  Nelsa . I really love using my coloring books as backgrounds and this way it will become a full journal when I'm finished with it.  I wanted this little fairy to be perched somewhere.  And the branches were just perfect. The image was colored with my copics and I used a gel pen to make her wings all shiny. The background was colored with my colorsoft derwent pencils.  The sentiment was found while researching on google. I'm entering this page in the following challenges: Broken fairy challenge  - Things with wings - anything goes The pencil cases  - Anything goes Crafting-with-friends  - Anything goes Creat

Here is the finished look I colored her up with my copics and then I used some gel pen on top of her shirt/armor.  The sentiment was found online and I wrote it in word document and then just tore it apart.  I used some silks for the background, some archival black ink as well as fabercastel silver pit pen.  The background wa
