Happy Mother's day to all mother's out there!

I want to start by wishing all the wonderful mother's that read my blog a very Happy Mother's day!  It will be quiet here.... with the excitement of the hockey game last night (Montreal won) I had lots of trouble falling asleep... I started making list again... and then thought of work... and then got up to take a pill to calm my head and finally got some sleep.  But with that being said I'm pretty tired.

My hubby will be installing my new air purification system in our bedroom!  Hopefully this will help with my allergies that I totally didn't help by bringing little Leo home with us... but he's so sweet and such a joy to be around that I really want this to work.

Anyway I'm here to share with you a little ICAD (supposed to be index card a day) but I do them just whenever now.  They are really fun I discovered them via the FB group of International Crafters - Those ladies show the very best tutorials all the time and they are so kind and helpful!  Love love love that group.  You really should join in the fun and learn a bunch of new tips cheap too!!!!

Anyway because of them I finally pulled out my Gelli Plate and played with it to make some papers for pocket letters and since I still had some paint I made a few ICAD backgrounds.  I thought the colors for this would be perfect with this image that was a freebie from Simply Betty in her FB group that's another group that you don't want to miss out being part of.... so fun!  And the challenge with this freebie was Lavender, Black and White.  So I think I did pretty good.
I fussy cut her out and used some Queen and Co jawbreakers that were gotten for me by my good friend Erin.

I'm entering this little ICAD in the Freebie challenge over at Simply Betty FB group And I will also enter in Left of center challenges  Where the challenge is to bling it up well I did put some but this is more LOC....

Hugs and have a great Sunday
