Image
Hello!  It's Friday wooohooo so very glad it's been a long and tireing week and it will be for the next 2 more weeks....  Anyway Friday means that there's a new release over at Sandra Caldwell's etsy store  and for this one I got to play with the fabulous image Pussy Kat Eye. This was the perfect opportunity to recycle a little container to put the food of my new baby Sam.  I also figured I would introduce you to him in this video. Here is what it turned out like.  This started out as a tea container.  I used black gesso.  Some stenciling using some Heidi Swapp teal texture paste with a stencil and used as well some white texture paste with a Tim Holtz stencil.  I added some book paper and some homemade deli paper.  The sentiment was done in word. The image was colored with my copics and then I fussy cut it out. I'm entering this in the following challenges: As you like it challenge  - Favorite fur or feathers - well fur...

Over dressed pig on summer holiday

Image
Hello!  I'm sharing with you today a fabulous new digi from Sandra Caldwell.  It's called over dressed pig and you can find it here . When I saw this guy it automatically made me think about the song I got to wear shades. I decided to make a tag out of it while I was camping.  The tag itself is made out of envelopes put together.  You can see the process for that in the video here . The background was made using stabilo pencils and then using water to spread them out.  I used some left over papers, a bit of trim and edged everything with a memento ink pad. Here is a closer look at the cute digi that I colored with my copics. And then fussy cut out. I'm entering this tag in the following challenges: Crafting by designs  - Anything goes Crafty creations challenges  - Anything goes Creative moments  - Anything goes option something funny - I think that fits :) Simon says stamp blog  - Add a sentiment Crafting from the hear...

New release images from Sandra Caldwell

Hello everyone!  There's a brand new release over at Sandra Caldwell   and it's a double one because Sandra took a short break :) I had the chance to play with gift box kitty and that was just perfect to make a layout in my ABC journal to introduce the newest member of our family!  I still don't have it but should in a few days now. I have made a video of the process you can see it here: And here is what it looks like.  Since I was working in a book I didn't want to use too much wet media because the paper is not the best for that sort of application.  But I still did put a bit of dylusion paint down as my base.  I also used some archival ink to stamp and make marks. The cute image was colored with my copics and then fussy cut out.  Here is the 2nd image that I worked with. The video of that process will be shown on Sunday. This journaling was done with the super cute image BEST FRIENDS FOREVER!  And I used my envelope journ...
