Over dressed pig on summer holiday

Hello!  I'm sharing with you today a fabulous new digi from Sandra Caldwell.  It's called over dressed pig and you can find it here.

When I saw this guy it automatically made me think about the song I got to wear shades.

I decided to make a tag out of it while I was camping.  The tag itself is made out of envelopes put together.  You can see the process for that in the video here.

The background was made using stabilo pencils and then using water to spread them out.  I used some left over papers, a bit of trim and edged everything with a memento ink pad.
Here is a closer look at the cute digi that I colored with my copics. And then fussy cut out.

DDC#47 - Winter blues

Hello everyone!  It's time for another challenge over at  Digi darlas !  This time it's about winter blues!  Yup I've got them by now.... just really really hate winter and looking forward to the warmth coming back. So for my card I used the digi Country star snowman. For my card I used paper from my mind's eye - be merry.  I used my label 28, scallop circle and standard circle.  I added some foam snowflakes.  The ribbon is from EK success - fun fibers and was part of a package I received from Rhonda Sue!!!  Thank you my dear see it's quite useful!
