Today as I was going through my dashboard I came across the blog hop from Sassy Studio.  Now I just Loooooove their images!  And that one was just PERFECT for my hubby's birthday which is coming up in December!  So while he's out putting up the tempo for the cars, I played in my scraproom so that he would not see it.  I'm lucky he never checks out my blog so he will not be seeing it before his b-day. So here is Shady (she's soooooo beautiful!!!)  Hope I did her justice... To make this card I used some paper from Me & my big idea and some cardstock from DCWV.  I used my Fleur de lis square and small squares as well as Banner basic 3 all from spellbinder.  The corners of the digi are done with my corner punch from Creative memories.  On the inside I used my grand label 1 from spellbinder.  The flourishes are from recollections bought at Michaels on sale.  I added a little bling to her ear as an earing. Here's a closer look at the digi that I colored wit

This week at  Crafting when we can  our challenge is to use the colors of a Flag!  And our wonderful sponsor for this week is Sassy Studio!!!!! For my card I decided to do a card with Canada's color since I'm a Canadian.  But because I wanted it for a Christmas card I used the wonderful digi from Sassy Studio called Little Honey's Russia. For this card I used paper from Basic Grey - Nordic Holiday.  I cut out the digi with Label 4 and the paper underneath with my grand label 4.  I used my regular classic circle for the circle with the sentiment and Scallop circle for the paper underneath.  I decided to add a little stack of buttons to the sentiment.  So used a white button and a red on top with a little ribbon through it.  I added a ribbon and a charm to the bottom of the card. For the image I colored it with my copics and added some stickles to the hat and the little area for her hands. The sentiment comes from  Create with TLC  and is part of a wonderful s

For my 3rd card for the night I'm going back to some Halloween creation.  Yesterday I did the blog hop over at Sassy studio the DT's had such wonderful inspiration that I really wanted to participate in their Halloween bingo.  So I decided to play :D Here's my card. For this card I used some papers from DCWV - Midnight Spell.  I added some die cuts the circle is the standard circle and I used Impression obsession fence die.  The cat, spider and tombstones are all stickers that I purchased yesterday at the dollar store prior to knowing that I would be making this card :D.  Totally love when my purchases come in handy. Here's a closer look at the digi that I colored using my copics as well as pearlescent chalk from Pebbles  to give the glow of the moon.  This is my 1st time doing green hair... and I really liked it!!!  The sentiment is from  Create with TLC I'm entering this card in these challenges: Sassy studio designs  - bingo ( I used fe

Today at  Tammy scrapin corner  our challenge is Fall inspiration.  Pretty cool challenge for this time of year!  I don't  know about you but I seem to be drawn to warmer colors as the fall comes around. Our sponsors this week are the fabulous:  and   And of course... you know me... I couldn't resist playing with both of these wonderful sponsors images! Here's my 1st one using Country Girl from Sassy Studio.  To me the fall means the crops are ready to be picked and what better way to showcase this than with this little country girl? To make this card and the next one I used some wonderful paper that I got at my local craft store Scrapbook Central.  It's from Bobunny - Apple cider.  I used my Grand Label 4, my label 4 and my grommet tag dies from Spellbinder.  The crinkled ribbon comes from the dollar store!  I was soooo happy to put my hands on this.  It really looks amazing, you can't really tell from the picture so you will just have to believe me lo
