13 days of Halloween - Simply Betty - Traditional combo colors

Image
Hello!  It's time for another challenge over at  Simply Betty Stamps  and this time around the challenge is about traditional Halloween colors - orange, purplu, lime green and black. So... for my make I used the great image Little Ali Pumpkin But I didn't do the traditional card for her... I decided to make a little Halloween jar :)  I did those for Christmas and they were a big hit! So I printed the image twice reversed so that I could put her back to back and this way whichever way the jar is it's pretty.

We had to create a card using the great Pumpkin Betty Digi.  And of course send a bunch of Halloween things!!! Here's the goodies she sent me: There's some paper, some die cuts, stickes, stickers a la la land craft fab stamp, and a black shiny pen.  And of course there was a fabulous card!!!!  It's just soooooo stunning here is a closer look at it! 13 days of Halloween Simply Betty's style - Candy Holders

Image
Hello everyone!  It's time for the newest challenge for the 13th days of Halloween over at  Simply Betty Stamps . And this time the challenge was Candy Holders. Hmmm that got me thinking... it's all very good for the little kiddies... but what about the ADULTS?!? So I made a few hee hee hee 2 for kiddies and one for adults... I used the great following images: Lilly-Octopus-Digi Pumkin-Judy-Digi Vampiress-Tilly-Digi And here are my make the 3 together and then I will give you individual looks!  I'm sure that you can tell which is the adult version :)   So here's 1st the cute little Lilly octopus that I put on a jar with a great sentiment also from Simply Betty.  I added some ribbon as well to this.  The jar is filled with chocolate eyes :) Closer look at the digi colored with my copics. And here's a closer look at the little Pumkin Judy.  The little tombstone holder was made using my Cameo.  The sentiment is from  Create with TLC .  I added a

13 days of Halloween Simply Betty - Mummy Loves you

Image
Hello!  It's time for the 5th challenge over at  Simply Betty Stamps .  And this time around the challenge is to use cotton or gauze and make a mummy effect. For my card I used the fabulous  Wrapped up Rio

Betty Miss Muffett

Image
Ok so back to share more of my therapeutic coloring.  This time it's using the super cute Betty Miss Muffett.  I wanted to enter the challenge here  Betty FB challenge Miss Muffett .  The challenge required to use dies, or punches.  I used both. I don't usually do border all around... but decided to do so... everything is taking longer for me to do... but at least it's taking off my mind from other stuff... So here's my card.

Autumn

Image
I'm feeling sooooo blah.... yesterday wasn't a good day and today still feeling totally BLAH!!!!!  So I figured I would follow the doctor's order and just color... for the fun of it. There's a cool challenge over at  Simply Betty FB group  to color the Autumn Betty in monochromatic except for the pumpkin.  So I thought she looks like she's feeling grey like me!  Let's color her up.  And it was fun lol.  I used my warm, cool and toner greys!  So it does give a bit of colors to the greys....

13 days of Halloween - Simply betty Style - Boo did I scare you

Image
So it's the 4th challenge of the 13 days of Halloween over at  Simply Betty  and this time it's Boo did I scare you... to make a pop up box! Well... I'm not good with those... so I'm pretty lucky because I have a cameo silhouette... so I went hunting in the store... and found one for a new housewarming... don't know for you but to me that meant...... suspense.... SCARY HOUSE!  So that's what I did.  I transformed this sweet pop up box into a scary one with a darker concept bwahahahah

Simply Betty 13 days of Halloween - Challenge # 3 - Blood curdling

Image
Hello!  I'm back and this time it's for my make for the Simply Betty 13 days of Halloween Contest .  The challenge today was to make the make bloody.... I have to say that this one was easier for me!  I had sooooo many ideas... the hardest thing was what to do that would be clever enough and how to actually pull it off!!!!  The initial ideas had to be ruled out because I just didn't have the knowhow to actually make it! And this is what I ended up with using the great Skeleton Key Samantha.  So I made a wall hanging!  I did some blood on the door like she had stabbed whoever was in the door... and I used some glossy accent as well as some red nail polish.

Simply Betty - 4th of October - Spooky gears

Image
Oh my... when I saw what was the next challenge for the title of Halloween Princess over at  Simply Betty  I started to sweat... but I knew that it had to be hard right?!?  It's a challenge!  So it's SteamPunk.  Now there's some fabulous image over at the shop... and I own a whole bunch... so no that wasn't the issue... the issue was they are soooo intricate and beautiful when done by others!  And now I had to do one of them! So I ended up choosing  Jack and Jill  image from Abigail Larson. And here's my make Steampunk style

Simply Betty - 13 days of Halloween - 1st - Banning Halloween

Image
Hello everyone!  I was sooo excited to be one of the chosen contestant for the Halloween Princess title from  Simply Betty .  The contest means that we need to create 13 makes based on the challenges that are given to us. This 1st challenge is about Banners!  YIKES that was soooo hard to think of what to do with this one.  It's a good thing that there's Halloween supplies already in the dollar stores :) So I purchased a banner and went looking on the Silhouette site for some banner ideas.  I found a pennant that I liked so set up to cut the numbers that I required to spell out Happy Halloween with a few extras.  I cut them in 2 size so that I would have the background and then the matting for them with the other (after removing the hole of course). Here's a look at the individual pennant for my banner :) I added letters also made using my silhouette. The paper that I used is from We r Memory Makers - Halloween paper - Spookville trick or treat.  I also added some

13 days of Halloween - Simply Betty style

Hello everyone!  I'm feeling like total crap... spent most of the day in bed with fever and a really bad cough... man... my oldest came home with a cold and right away I end up sick :( I'm still here to share with you a card that I made WAY back to participate in the contest for the 13th days of Halloween over at Simply Betty  and I'm one of the lucky 6 contenders now for the title of Halloween Princess as well as a fabulous prize. I finally get to share with you the make that I did to participate in this challenge!  Hope you like it... took me forever to do... lol To make this card I used the Betty Boos house, Witchy Mrs Boo, Franken Babe Betty and Spirited Betty.  I printed the house a few times... and one smaller version to actually use as a template to make the shape of the card.  Must be the most elaborate card that I ever managed to make...  I didn't have any acetate so I used an old package and cut out the plastic to use it to hold my witch and Franken Babe

Hello everyone!  It's the weekend wooohooo!!!  So excited! I can get to rest :)  And hopefully my headaches will go away... in order to get rid of the stress of the week I figured what is the best way?!?  Well craft of course!  So I decided to play in the new challenge of  Simply betty stamps .  You have until Sunday to scrap lift one of the dt's make with your own twist.  So since I had one of the release... I just HAD to play along and what better stress reliever than to do something for Halloween... So here's my very 1st Halloween decoration for this year! The DT that I scrap lift from is  Irene .  I just looooove what she makes.  She's so incredibly talented.  So I took this card from her as my inspiration: Isn't that just awesome?!?  When I saw it I figured it would make an awesome Halloween decoration... so I made a wall hanging that I can put on a door... here's my take on this: So already the fact that it's a wall hanging is my own twist :

Dark and Beautiful

Image
Ohhhh my world... I'm on vacation right now (as those of you that follow me know...) and when my friend Erin told me about the colorist position open at  Simply betty stamps  my heart just STOPPED!  And then I told Erin that she was nuts... this was not the time for me to try this out... nearly no supplies... and plus I'm sure that there will be sooo much talent applying... but then... Erin insisted... and the little voice in my head (yup I have one that speaks to me) insisted that I should try... what do I have to lose?!?  I just looooove Simply Betty images (I own a WHOLE bunch lol) and love to color them up.  Plus I love her coloring class... learning so much from them! So here goes nothing... I used the superb Dark and Beautiful image!

Beach Lola Addams

Image
Hello everyone!  Hope you had a great Sunday!  I was busy doing some DT administrative stuff :)  And some cards.. but I found time to play for the newest FB challenge of  Simply Betty FB group .  Right now she's having a little competition with the fabulous Beach Lola Addams and you can get this fun image for only 1$$$ I just adore the Addams family... so just had to play along.  I know that my card will most probably not be up to the standards of the others... but I had fun doing it. I figured Lola would not be too happy on the beach as you can tell with her facial expression so I found a sentiment that I thought would be gloomy and funny with this.  Because I'm sure that for her this is one of those moments best forgotten... Like the summer camp...

Angel Elisabete

Image
I'm back as promised.  And this time I'm here to share with you the last of my little jar presents ;o)  I made the last one with the great digi that was offered as the  Simply betty stamps  - Fan page challenge!  It's the fabulous Angel Elisabete that I chose... so hard to make a choice because all 3 images were fabulous. I cut out the back part of the digi because I didn't want the matches hope in my image(Corinne and Betty are not too upset with me!!!)... I printed the image twice and mirrored it.

Pilgrim Corinne

Image
Hello!!!  Hope your Saturday was a great one!!!  I didn't get as much accomplished as I would have liked... My hubby is gone as you know with my youngest... and so I had to help with the homework of the other 3 that are in high school... review their papers etc.... And of course play a bit of taxi.  So I crafted a bit but not much. I'm here to share with you a creation that I made last weekend and didn't have time to blog and since the challenge is closing soon I better get moving before Corinne stops me from playing in the next one!!! Yup it's the challenge over at  Simply betty Stamps  and since I don't want to sit it out... and since I already did the project I better get my butt moving right?!? ;o) So I made a little ATC for this using all scraps from my pile.  If we were creating with Pilgrim Corinne the challenge was to use Fall colors. It's a pretty funny little digi so I figured the ooops done on my label maker would be perfect for this.  I added

Fortune Teller Bettty

Image
I'm back and I'm going from Christmas (in my last post) back to Halloween ;o)  As I have stated in a earlier post this week I'm a bit tired of making Halloween cards ( I love doing them... but I've made a ton!!!  and already mailed them all out... so if I make more they just accumulate).  So I figured I could make some little bookmarks for my kids and put them in their Halloween bags ;o) So I'm here to share the 1st of 4!  Actually still have to do the 4th lol.  But I already have an idea for an upcoming DT work so that will take care of that last one. So this time I used my great image from Simply Betty called Fortune Teller Betty.  It was one of the 2 images that was given to the FB group to play with.  If you played with the fortune Teller you had to add some jewels and some glaze. I added some glossy accent to my fortune teller ball.  So here's my bookmark
