For the Digi Darla blog hop it's  here . Ok so for everyone that knows my work... I've never done a easel card... well after seeing so many WONDERFUL creations from everyone, I just had to try my hand at doing one.  And I've never used digi paper either!  And today I was looking over at  Doodle pantry blog  and they had a wonderful set of digis available for us to use in their challenges.   So if you know me, you know that I looooove to craft.  So I had to try my hand doing a card with it lol I used the wonderful paper from Doodle pantry and combined it with BBP Bazzill Basics Paper the red and the green.  I put my PNG image on top of one of the papers and just had to use my spellbinder circle to cut it out.  I used the scallop circle for the red underneath.  I also added some Robin's Nest dew drops in silver (addicted to this stuff). I colored my wonderful digi with my copics: Isn't  he just soooo cute!  Don't forget to go and get him at Doodle pa

Since our Canada day is over today, I thought I would take the celebration side of it so I created a little summery birthday card, always need some of those. To make this card I used a wonderful paper from Desert Blooms 6x6 pad from First Edition.  I combined it with the stamp (my 1st time using it lol...I have so much that I don't  use.... I really have to start using it more...).  I used a spellbinder die to cut around the image and used my copics to put the stiching marks.  I combined it with some Robin Nest dew drops.  I used some great ribbon that I got at the dollar store (got to love those finds!). I'm entering this card in the following challenges: Corrosive challenges  - Summertime Girls The hybrid chick  - faux stiching Ribbon girls  - girly card with ribbon (I

Sweet Treats

Ok so the last post that I did about cake... I really wanted to enter the challenge at Digi Haven... but then I realized that the awesome digi that I got was no longer a freebie... only the sentiment.  So I went and made another card lol just any excuse to make  a card! The beautiful digi can be found here:  Beary wishes  it's called Sweet treats mouse.  I used my big scalloped squares to cut out the digi and the paper underneath.  I used six by six from my mind's eye  paper (all the dp) and some basil cardstock (pink and the black).  I used my EK border punch to cut out the little border.  Here's a closer look at the image: I colored her with my copics and added star dust stickles to the frosting on the cake.  Here's the cute sentiment that went with it: I followed this great sketch: I'm entering this card in the following challenges: Sweet stop sketches  - sketch The paper shelter  - dies/punches (I used both in this card) Digihaven  -

Happy Canada Day to all my Canadian friends and followers!  Today I was busy enjoying the pool and preparing our camping trip.  So we pack the camping trailer.  It's starting to smell like vacation time!!!!  It's good that I can rest tomorrow as well.  I hope that I get a bit more crafting...  Last night I made 4 cards... but can't show them yet ;) So this is the card that I made this afternoon. I used a doily under my image from some package that I've had forever.  I used my scallop circle and the regular circle for the sweet image.  She comes from  When the scrap hits the fun , the sentiment is still a freebie but for the image you had to have registered for her e-mail.  I colored her with my copics.  The paper is from Lime Twist - my mind's eye.  I used some ribbon that I had already.  And the little right hand corner at the bottom it's a little metal corner piece that I had purchased at a dollar store. I followed this sketch: I'm entering
