Lots of first
For the Digi Darla blog hop it's here.
Ok so for everyone that knows my work... I've never done a easel card... well after seeing so many WONDERFUL creations from everyone, I just had to try my hand at doing one. And I've never used digi paper either! And today I was looking over at Doodle pantry blog and they had a wonderful set of digis available for us to use in their challenges.
So if you know me, you know that I looooove to craft. So I had to try my hand doing a card with it lol
I used the wonderful paper from Doodle pantry and combined it with BBP Bazzill Basics Paper the red and the green. I put my PNG image on top of one of the papers and just had to use my spellbinder circle to cut it out. I used the scallop circle for the red underneath. I also added some Robin's Nest dew drops in silver (addicted to this stuff).
I colored my wonderful digi with my copics:

Isn't he just soooo cute! Don't forget to go and get him at Doodle pantry blog.
Here's a look from the side of my card:
Everybody was right... I was soooo sure that it was really hard to make and it really wasn't that bad. This was my 1st try. Pretty good I think. The cardstock is paper from my scrapbook album, it's the white paper inside the sideloading pockets! I don't like to throw stuff away and had lots of this stuff. Been using a lot of it with my 6x6 cards.
I followed this amazing sketch (really love to have a sketch to work with):
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
- Doodle pantry blog - the Tiny Triceratops and the paper
- Sketch and stash challenge - sketch
- Paper make up stamps - Easel card with a digi
- Cutie pie challenge - one for the boys (2nd entry)
- Hiding in my craftroom - anything goes
So that's it! I was really really happy with my 1st try. And as you would know it... I was addicted... so did 6 total today lol! I'm coming back with 2 other ones. The rest is my DT work for when I will be on vacation!
I noticed that I have a new follower! Big hello to Jovan! I really love seeing new faces ;)))
Don't forget to leave me a comment on your way out.
