Having fun

Tonight I finished all my DT work so that I may go on vacation!!! YAY!!!  About time because I'm leaving Friday afternoon lol.

I still managed to make 2 cards just for the fun of it because there are challenges that I really wanted to enter.  Last week I won at Paper Shelter.  And I was DYING (well almost ;) ) to color it up!  So here it is:

Yes... I made an easel card ;)  Told you I was totally addicted to those!!!  I used paper Desert Bloom from First Edition, I love the sparkle that this gives.  I paired it up with some ribbon from my stash and... yes you know it Robin's Nest Dew Drops.

Here's a closer look as to how I colored Little Bit Grumpy:

I used my copics, I inked all around with some Frayed Burlap distress ink and added Crystal Stickles to the wings that I had colored in pale pink to give that extra shine.  Isn't she cuuuuuute!  Now you know why I couldn't stop myself and needed to color her up.
