DDC#20 - Animal Crackers

 Today at Digi darlas our challenge is Animal Crackers (you need to feature a cute animal).  And we are being sponsored by the amazing Floppy Latte Design!

For myself the digi that I played with is Dino Lunch.  There were a few last week used for the Noah's ark.  This is my time to show what I did with it.

I did... yes... an easel card ;)  my paper is from Lime Twist by my mind's eye and is called fly a kite it's a 6x6 (just love those packs since I don't waste as much paper with them)  I also used  BBP cardstock.  I added my Robin's Nest silver dew drops.  

I colored him up with my copics.  I also used a technique that I found through a fellow Dt on the team to make clouds.  You can find the tutorial on the blog All the things I love.  She really has wonderful tutorials.  I used my own template and some blue distress ink.  Of course, it didn't  come out the way I had planned... but this is my 1st try ;)  Here's a closer look at the digi colored:
