Camping memories

This post is to show you what I did during my camping vacation :D If you look at the Altered art  post you will see that waaaaay back in the month of June I had prepared a book to record the memories of our vacation.... Well sometimes stuff doesn't work out the way you plan.... I  took out my book and all the family wrote in it and it was wonderful. I already had vision of using it to do my scrapbooking.  Well.... we left it out that 1st night... and of course... it rained!!!!  YIKES  it was all soggy... so no way of using it anymore. When I went to Michael's I came across the smash books.  I realized that this would work!  So I started to cut out the 1st page and included it in my new book: And while I was at the campsite, I colored some digis that I had preprinted and some stamps as well.  I figured this would be a great place to display them to embellish some of our memories. For this page I used a wonderful image from Scribbles by Sandy .  It's called

This week at  Jacksons digital expressions  our anything goes challenge twist is a wonderful color combination.  Please see at the bottom of this post for the colors. I got to work with the wonderful image Stella Reaper.  I thought this would make for a wonderful birthday card: To make this card I used Paper from Daydream first Edition paper.  I used Label 18 and Grand square spellbinder. I also added Robin's Nest dew drops.  And some ribbon from my stash. Here's a closer look at the digi colored with my copics.  The sky is done with broken china. Tuesday Throwdown -challenge #111

This week at  Tuesday throwdown  our challenge is about "sweet treats".  So this is the time to come out with those yummy creations :D  Our sponsor this week is For this card I used the Sweet Cupcake stamps 2 and had so much fun with it! My paper is from K& cie and the cardstock from DCWV.  I used Grand Scallop rectangle to cut out the shape of the card.  The digi and the paper underneath it is cut with Label 11 and the sentiment was cut with grommet tags. I added a gift sticker from Jolee's boutique and a streamer from a dollar store bunch.  Here's a closer look at the digi colored with copics.  I added some stickles to the heart and some Robin's Nest dew drops to put as sprinkles on the cupcake. Digi Make Over challenge - #49

Hello everyone!  Here's the post that I was supposed to do as a guest designer :D  So happy to be part of the regular team!!!!   And this week we welcome another wonderful DT with us  Ruza Rebel .  Please give her a wonderful welcome! Our challenge this week at  Digi makeover  is a recipe 3 -2-1. To make this card I used the wonderful Tina Stamp and sentiment. My recipe is 3 blings, 2 Robin's Nest Dew Drops and 1 digi image.  I used paper from the Be You 6x6 pad from FPD and some BBP cardstock.  I used Floral Oval to cut out the digi and Page maps Labels and Tags all from spellbinders. DDC #24 - Digging for gold

This week at  Digi darlas  our challenge is digging for gold.  So this is the time to pull out all the gold elements that you have. Before I show you my card, I have to announce the winner for last week's  blog hop!  It was Sarah!  She made the comment : " I love your card. It's beautiful! Here's my card using the amazing digi Angel Baby Stars and the sentiment For a special fairy princess. Tammy's Scrapin Corner - Challenge # 23 - Add some flowers

This week at  Tammy's Scrapin Corner  our challenge is "Add some flowers".  I know you will not have a problem with that.  Actually it would probably be harder if we said not to lol. Our wonderful sponsors are  and And I just had to work with images from both sponsors :D. The 1st card that I will be showing you is using a digi from A day for Daisies and the image is Lady Hat bow. I used paper from Basic Grey called  Capella.  I used Label 1 and folliage from spellbinder and fancy tag from framelits from Sizzix.  I also used sizzix swirl #4 from Sizzix for the flourishes.  And I put vintage photo distress ink on the sentiment. OSAAT - challenge #126

This week our theme at One stitch at a time challenge  is one that you absolutely all love!!!  It's "anything goes" :D  yes I knew it that you would loooove it. This week I worked with  the wonderful Gingerloft digi called Sunflower collage.  Actually if you purchase for 7$ only at  Stitchy bear stamps  you can get this wonderful image along with some other wonderful ones for free!!!!  Yes you read right.  I have purchased a bunch of those wonderful collaborations.  The images are totally awesome.  Here's the look of the digis that you will be getting: Here's my card : I used some distress inks on it and on the sentiment.  Paired it up with rafia that I purchased at Walmart and some left over papers that I had.  I used my Tim Holtz distress tool to go around all the edge to create a more distressed look.  I really felt that this image really needed nothing more than a bit of ink, it was so beautiful already.  Here's a closer look: And here'
