Hello everyone.  Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!  Mine was really good.  Yesterday I went to bring my daughter to volunteer work... did the chores and then had lots of fun with the Rick St-Denis party!!!!  Got to win some prizes as well including a wonderful discount that I'm dying to use lol. Today since it was raining I got lots of crafting done (well yesterday was fun but not much crafting when you are on the net lol).  So today I made 6 cards!!!!  And there's 4 that I can show you.  But I'll do so in separate posts just to keep you waiting lol :D So for my 1st one it's a card that I made just because I really really wanted to play along at SK digis.  I had prepared my images but had not made the card... and yikes there was only 1 more day to join so I figured I better get cracking!!!  So here's my card using 2 of Silly ghost freebies from Sk digis!!!  I switched it around to have the double... :D For this card I used paper from Authentique - Glo

OSAAT Challenge # 135

This week at One stitch at a time challenge  our challenge is music or a song. Now I always have trouble with this type of challenge... I can never find anything that is appropriate!  But this time I found my inspiration right away.  My image is Fallen from Delicious Doodle. One of my favorite artist is Sarah Mclachlan, she's a very talented Canadian Singer and she has a song called Fallen  (you can see the video at the bottom of my post.  So that was my inspiration. I used paper from DCWV - immortal love.  The embossing folder is from Cuttlebug it's tiny bubbles.  I added some Robin's Nest Dew drops.   Here's a closer look at the digi that I colored using my copics.  I added a bit of Stickles to the beautiful wings. Here's a closer look at the beautiful rose that I paired with some Kraft die cut leaves. And here's a closer look at the sentiment written directly on the paper (it was just perfect for this challenge). Here's the vide

Crafting When we can - Challenge 29

This forthnight at Crafting when we can challenges  our sponsor is Some Odd girl. And our theme is Wedding Celebration.  I really don't make a lot of wedding cards... there doesn't seem to be as many weddings anymore in my entourage.  But I guess it's always useful to have them in your stash!  It was also very fun to make! For this card I chose to play with an image from Robert Jackson that I think is so very elegant.  It's called the bride and groom II  you can find it here . To make this card I used DCWV - Shimmer pack for the green card stock.  I used the wonderful Splendid circle and botanical swirl die all from Spellbinder. I colored the digi with my copics. I paired it out with a sentiment that I thought was just perfect for this from Create with TLC . I really hope that you will be joining us this week at Crafting when we can challenges . I'm entering this card in the following challenges: Simon says stamps challenge  - Dies and/

Gingerloft - Halloween or Fall

Image
This week at Gingerloft challenge  it's about Halloween or Fall.  Great time for this since here in Montreal, all the leaves are changing colors and have started to fall. For my card I used a wonderful image callde Pumpkin Scene. The paper that I used come from Bobunny - Apple cider (looove that pack).  I used my label 11 and my pumpkin dies from Spellbinder.  I added a ribbon that I purchased at Michaels and a little charm from my stash.  The leaves also come from Michael they are the recollections pack. I colored the digi with my copics and added some stickles to the eyes for the glow of the candle light.  I used ripe persimmon distress inks around the digi and sentiment. Here's a closer look at the ribbon and charm. And here's a look at the sentiment from Create with TLC  .  It was part of the wonderful fall club! I really hope that you will be joining us this week at Gingerloft challenge .  Don't forget to check out the inspiration from the oth
