Crafting Vicky

While I was out camping I was choosing the images that I would be showcasing this month over at Sparkle and Glitter :)  And I just HAD to share this one because I thought it was just PERFECT for a camping book. Let's be honest if you have seen my camping pictures you will know that I camp in luxury.  And one of the things that is SUPER important to me is the washroom facilities.  So when I saw  2011 Mendencino Outhouse  I knew this would be the perfect decoration for my page.

Hello!  My computer is back!  OH OH OH BOY so very happy to be on my own little baby instead of using my hubby's.  It's just not the same using his....  He doesn't  have all my software... and I can't rearrange my stuff to find it easily. The good thing is that my digis are on a little SD card so I can have them always with me.... and I wasn't without them.... and I also knew that I would not be losing them if the harddrive had an issue... and YES it's one drive that I copy often because I really don't want to lose all those precious digis! Anyway I finally shared one of my last DT work for my little junk journal.  There's only one more share and I thought that with this share I could also release the video of the flip through of this special album.  It was great fun to make. And won't be the last. The only thing that I think I will do different is choose a different cover and do more signatures instead of such a big one because this one ended

Autumn Rose Boots n Bows  is such a great image it was perfect for journaling! By now you know that I really really love doing other stuff than cards :) And there's something that I've been meaning to try and that's making a junk journal!  This is the center folds of my junk journal.  This was done on some cardstock for paint that I gessoed and then did some gelli printing over.  I think it really created a fun background for this great image! Here it is colored with my copics.   The sentiments that I have added where cut out from a book by Jim Henson's Doodle Dreams.  I purchased it for very cheap it was reduced but it had some fun quotes that I knew I would be able to use like this. Hello!  Now I'm totally missing out my camping trip.... It went way too fast and now it's over.... but I do have a bunch of memories from it. I used some of my digis and one from RSD to use for a post to immortalize this moment in my camping book.  I have been doing a smash book for the past few years where everyone writes down their memories of the day for the 2 weeks we are gone.  It's fun to see the handwriting change and what the kids have remembered from their days :)  Hopefully those will be some great mementos of their family life later on. In this case I used the great  Archie .  I have to admit that he did look like a few fellows that I met at camping.... oops did I write that out.... lol Isn't he fun with the great napkin that I found at a dollar tree??!?   So fun to use other stuff in my journals!  The great sentiment that I added to this page is from  Create with TLC . I shouldn't say it's the end.... because that journal is far from finished lol.  For the part 5 I only touched 12 out of 20 pages..... I so suck at doodling on a time limit. Anyway it got me some good base to work with.  Here's my video. And I will be sharing my DT work in the upcoming month.  And do a final flip through of this once I really do have it complete and I'm happy with it.... yeah.... that could be awhile. Ta ta for now!
