Well I had fun today after doing a bit of shopping at a local store!  I really love how the journaling by 5s only takes 15 minutes.... makes it fun and easy. For this step it's collage.  I was pretty happy because I had kept all my left over from the previous journaling by 5s in a little plastic box.  So I used those for this step :) Hope you like my video. Hi everyone!  It's time for my August release over at  SLS lines digis .  And this one was a perfect one in the journal that I did for Journaling by 5s. I just have to say how I loved that process and how freeing it was.  You can check out this via my youtube channel  Crafting Vicky Here's the finished page that I did once I did the free time play with it using the great  Fantasy Shaman Once I did all the process this was one of the pages that I was not able to get to for the doodling.... but I really want this journal to stay intact... so I'm using the left hand side to comment what I have done to the page on the right since the initial 5 steps.  The stamps used on these pages are from Unity stamps. I'm really liking how mysterious this page turned out.  The image was colored with my copics.  I did add some gold accent with the sharpie pen.  The sentiment is from  Create with TLC I added some of the gold back because it was gone from the initial stenciling

Well I finally made the plunge after watching Bonnie Irvine from afar for a long time playing with playing cards I decided it was my turn! Since I loved the process of journaling by 5s I have made the same but with some playing cards. You can check out my 1st video here. Hello everyone! Yup I'm sharing a nude!  But if you read my post you will understand why I journaled this!  It's a message for me and for all my friends that don't like their bodies! I don't know if you have seen my post in the SLS FB group but I have been doing the journaling by 5s.  And I used a great pin up from SLS lines for one of the pages  Pin up Nude . The layout was done while doing the steps and I finally finished the page this morning.  I really hope that you like this page. My sentiment behind it is that we don't accept our bodies and ourselves and we really should no matter what shape we are! From the journaling by 5 to this layout I have completed the left hand side with my thinking while doing this page.  I added some doodling as this was one of the page that I had not completed in the 15 minutes allowed.  I added some washi tape and lace tape.  The washi tape is a measuring one because we are always measuring ourselves.... and we shouldn'

While I was out camping I was choosing the images that I would be showcasing this month over at Sparkle and Glitter :)  And I just HAD to share this one because I thought it was just PERFECT for a camping book. Let's be honest if you have seen my camping pictures you will know that I camp in luxury.  And one of the things that is SUPER important to me is the washroom facilities.  So when I saw  2011 Mendencino Outhouse  I knew this would be the perfect decoration for my page.

Hello!  My computer is back!  OH OH OH BOY so very happy to be on my own little baby instead of using my hubby's.  It's just not the same using his....  He doesn't  have all my software... and I can't rearrange my stuff to find it easily. The good thing is that my digis are on a little SD card so I can have them always with me.... and I wasn't without them.... and I also knew that I would not be losing them if the harddrive had an issue... and YES it's one drive that I copy often because I really don't want to lose all those precious digis! Anyway I finally shared one of my last DT work for my little junk journal.  There's only one more share and I thought that with this share I could also release the video of the flip through of this special album.  It was great fun to make. And won't be the last. The only thing that I think I will do different is choose a different cover and do more signatures instead of such a big one because this one ended

Autumn Rose Boots n Bows  is such a great image it was perfect for journaling! By now you know that I really really love doing other stuff than cards :) And there's something that I've been meaning to try and that's making a junk journal!  This is the center folds of my junk journal.  This was done on some cardstock for paint that I gessoed and then did some gelli printing over.  I think it really created a fun background for this great image! Here it is colored with my copics.   The sentiments that I have added where cut out from a book by Jim Henson's Doodle Dreams.  I purchased it for very cheap it was reduced but it had some fun quotes that I knew I would be able to use like this.
