Scribbles Challenge - A little note to BUG you

I have one last post for you on this very very busy Friday!  This time it's about the new challenge that is going on in over at Scribbles designs challenge and this time around it's about being a bug.  And for my make I decided to use the fabulous using sunny Butterfly Doodle.

My make is a little journaling outside my box and it's done on a little cardboard.  The sentiment is from a magazine and I used a lot of diffent stamping as well as some stencils.  The image was colored with my tritone pencils.  I really love playing with those.
I just ADORE how this turned out!!!  And I can't wait to share with you via video all the little cards that are in my box.  I have made quite a few.

I'm entering this in the following challenges:

Have a fabulous day!!!

RSD - FB reminder Jolly Rodger

Hey everyone!  I'm here to share with you my little make for the challenge going on over at FB RSD and friends.  This time it's about stiches (real or false).  In my case I did false!!!

The image that I used is the fab Jolly Rodger to make a little postcard for my little nephew :)  The base for this was a cereal box .  I really do love using cereal box as my base.  And I'm happy to report that the postcard made it and my nephew was really happy.

I used copics to color the image and many stencils and paint to make this.  The sentiment is from a magazine.  I decided to use a little dollar bill from a game because well pirates love their gold right?!? :)

I'm entering this little postcard in the following challenge:

  1. Inky impressions challenges - all about boys
  2. Robyns fetish challenge blog - use a sentiment
  3. We love 2 create - Anything goes mixed media
  4. Crafty time challenges - for the kids
  5. Doodle pantry blog - Anything goes
That's it for me for this post... but there's one more post coming so please don't forget to come back :)

Ajna - TEW new release

Hello everyone!!!  Hope you are having a fabulous week.  This Friday it's really busy on my blog especially since I decided to play with the latest release from The East Wind Ajna which you can find in the Etsy store.

I was wondering how to showcase this gorgeous image!  And then I thought that I could put her on one of the background that I had colored in my Secret garden coloring book.  I don't want to just color those pages... I need to make it more so it's a journal in progress!

For this I used a sentiment stamp set from Unity stamps that I thought would go perfect with her.  The colored page was done with my polychromos pencils.  The image however was colored with copics.  I really don't dare attempt doing skin coloring with pencils.

Here's the closer version at the gorgeous image.
I hope this will encourage you to play with your digis in different way like this one :)

I'm entering this little coloring page in the following challenges:
  1. Aud sentiments challenge blog - Anything goes
  2. C.R.A.F.T. - Clean and simple - there's no embellishments here and I left it fairly simple
  3. Julia spiri challenge blog - Anything goes
  4. Star stampz - Use a digi
  5. Addicted to stamps-challenge - Clean and simple
That's it for this post but there's loads more today so please do come back!!!

The East wind Challenge - 3d challenge

Oh man... it's time for a new challenge over at The east wind but it's about 3d and that is always so difficult for me...   I really had to think long and hard about what I could make.

And then I look through my stuff and saw a little clock that I had meant to alter some time ago.  That was the starting point!  And I used the great image Faith Lettering

You can see what it looked like and the process of making this in the little video here:

And if you don't want to see the entire process here is the final view!!!  I used some different stamps to decorate this.  But the lettering was put really big because that's what I wanted as the focus!  We need to have more faith.  That little altered clock is now in my kitchen to make us remember.

I really can't wait to see what you guys create!!!  I'm sure that it will inspire me in the future!!!

I'm entering this little clock in the following challenges:

  1. Wordart wednesday - anything goes
  2. Path of positivity challenge - Grace - I think that if you have Faith you will be able to notice more how God does grace us with so much!  We just don't see his presence as we should.  To me Grace description is: the free and unmerited favor of God, as manifested in the salvation of sinners and the bestowal of blessings.
  3. A bit more time to craft - Anything goes
  4. Altered eclectics - Anything goes
  5. Cards galore challenges - anything goes
That's it for this post!  LOTS lots more coming up.  Hope you like what you see and are inspired.

Oddball FB challenge -April midway post

Hello!  It's Thursday and it's time to share with you my make for the midway post of the FB challenge going on at Oddball .  It's anything goes so long as you use an Oddball image and if you don't you should go and shop :)  You can use the code DTVICKY10 and get 10% off your order!!!

In this little make I used the fabulous image 293.  I wanted to try out something different!  I get a lot of inspiration from the wonderful crafters that put videos on Youtube.  And one of the channel that I really love to watch is KagedFish.  If you don't know her you should check her out and tell her I said "Hello" :)

There was a flip through of some of her previous work and she showed something using some collage square little pieces of paper.  And I thought this was really clever.  In my cutting up of magazine I came across some black and white pictures that I thought would be interesting for this process as well as a little poem (I didn't keep the entire poem just the beginning).

So this is what it ended up looking like.  I used some pink washi tape as accent and that fit with her dressing as well.  But it's a tiny bit of color.  Just to pop it out!

I also used my label maker on the left hand side to do my journaling.

Here's a closer look at the poem

And here is my little digi colors with my copics.  I also use some gel pen on her wing.
I'm entering this little journaling in the following challenges:
  1. Lemon shortbread challenge - Anything goes
  2. Ttcrd - anything goes
  3. The papernest dolls challenge - Anything goes
  4. Left of center challenges - Torn edge - well there's torned washi tape and she is holding a skull so kinda LOC as well
  5. Llil patch of crafty friends - Anything goes
That's it for me for today!  Hope you have enjoyed this make!  Always love reading your comments
