Butterfly vintage children - Freebie celebration!

Hello Everyone!!!  This is really a time of celebrations ;)  When Paulette from Create with TLC saw my post about my reaching 200 followers, being the awesome lady that she is, she e-mailed me asking me if I would like to give my followers a freebie ;))))  Of course I said yes!!!  And me just loving her images I just had to create a card to showcase it lol

Here's my card.  And of course... I tried out different techniques for it lol so took me lot longer than originally intended... oh well it was fun.  I made my own ribbon using a double fold bias that I scrunched up and died with some Tattered angel glimmer mist apple.  I also tried a crackled technique that requires heat embossing that I saw here.

For this card I used paper from Walnut grove pebbles.  I used my long classic rectangle and my nesting oval to cut the sentiment.  I added some Robin's nest dew drops.  I added a heart button and twine from my stash.  And of course my newly made ribbon.

Here's a closer look at the digi colored with my copics and to which I added the embossing.  You can see the little cracks from the new technique.
