We have a super sponsor this month -  The stamping Chef, who has graciously offered 3 digis of the lucky winners choice who comment on the Design Team Blog at http://thestampingchef.wordpress.com/and become a follower.

So for my card I'm doing Boy Scouts Day.  I thought it was fitting since I have 2 Scouts in the house a boy and a girl ;)  I'm thinking that this will end up being a card for the best friend of my son William ;)

When I saw the date I thought right away about this image that I had purchased from La la Land Crafts and had yet to color up!
To make this card I used paper from Happy day - Simple stories.  I used some buttons and twine from my stash.  The sentiment is from Create with tlc.  The little bug brads are from Eyelet outlet.  I used my scallop circle and standard circle.  I used my Tim Holtz distresser as well - great stress reliever lol

Your next stop along the way of the calendar is  Lynne  Thanks for stopping by and mark your calendar again next month to see what Holidays to Celebrate on March 9, 2013, for the next Calendar Girls Blog Hop!

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
  1. Brown sugar challenge - Anything goes
  2. Send a smile 4 kids challenge - Easter/spring (I went with spring with my little plant and bug ;) )
  3. Inspire me fridays - Anything goes
  4. Tuesday Alchemy - Anything goes
Have a wonderful Saturday everyone!  I hope that I get some craft time...

Hugs

Vicky
