Toilet paper roll albums tutorial and giveaway!

Hello my dearest!!!!  Hope you are having a great Saturday so far.

Yesterday I went out with my bestie to see Kinky boots the musical at Place des Arts in Montreal.  So funny because when we decide to do stuff it seems so fun but then as the time get closer to it we don't want to go downtown Montreal lol.  Thank god we push ourselves because the show was amazing.  So I'm a bit tired this morning... getting old but it was so worth it.  And we had a DELICIOUS meal prior at a small restaurant located right there (best location).

This weekend it will be quiet for me and probably crafty YAY.  1st week back to work after the holidays is always harder for me... don't know if it is for others as well.

Anyway I'm here today to share with you the toilet paper roll that I made for my giveaway at youtube.  I have reached 1K subscribers!!!  YAY so very excited made it on the 31st of December so just in time to say my goal of 2016 was reached :)  I also made a tutorial of this so you should go to watch it out.  If you want to win it you have to leave a comment on that video.

I also made one for my Etsy store for those of you that would not want to wait you can find it here.  And here is the picture.  It was made the same way but I added some metal embellishments as well as a stamped sentiment.

And here is the one you could win if you comment on you tube.  The base is obviously a toilet paper roll.  I covered it with some newspaper that was painted using a technique that I did last year that involved gesso and sprays.  I used some stamping after.  It contains 2 signatures and has a crossstiched binding.

I have added some Tim Holtz die cuts to the front that were stained with some Tattered Angel spray kit called Rusty Metal.  The closure is made out of some ribbon.  I have also reinforced the spine with some washi tape.

I'm entering this album in the following challenges:
  1. Open-minded crafting fun - Stitching real or faux
  2. Crafting-with-friends - Anything goes
  3. Crafty catz weekly challenge - Anything goes add ribbon :)
That's it for me!  Have a fab day.

Hugs
