I did a bunch of super fun background on photo paper using some alcohol inks for my Patreons .  And I figured it would be amazing to make some freebies using those backgrounds.  Especially since they really felt like spring time.  If you watch my videos or if you have been reading my blog for awhile you would know that I really love to recycle.  And I also love getting playing cards because I use them as journaling cards in my journals or I can make some altered playing cards for ATC(artist trading cards). When I see beautiful backgrounds or images I can't help but think of doing some cards with them.  This is what I have done today in my video .   Here is the series of cards that I have made.  I have to admit to being quite proud of how they turned out.  Today I get to share with you all some Easter cards that I made.  The YouTube video is here . I really love the beautiful set of paper.  It's so soft.  Perfect for spring.  And I used a stamp and die cut set this time around for the image.  I don't often use stamps because I find that it takes me a long time to color them but these were super easy and quick.   I should start stamping images ahead of the time I need to use them and color them so that I can then just be ready when I make cards.  This being said I often like to color the image based on the color of the papers that I will use... dilemmas :)  Here is the 1st card: The addition of the little pearl next to the sentiment were I think the best thing to make it pop!  Got to love all the layers.  Told you the paper is fabulous.  Well, it's been a very long time since I have posted on this blog!  I have been busy building my YouTube channel as well as my Patreon community. I created my very own website this past weekend and decided to join in my blog.   I have created a subscription on the website so that I will be able to send a monthly newsletter which I think can be fun for little updates on what I’m doing.   But I also thought it could be wonderful to do other news throughout the month that I would not want to put in a monthly newsletter. Hello everyone!  I hope you are all doing well and staying safe.  I am sorry for doing the winner's post so very late!  I was debating whether I would continue to do the sketch/layout challenge or if I was going to take a break.
