Image
Thanks for all the wonderful entries last week!  Some gorgeous fashion ideas ;) This week at  Crafting when we can challenges   it's a color combo! Mint chocolate chip!  YUM!!!  And we have an amazing sponsor: I had never had the pleasure of using one of their images before. And ohhhh I will just have to get some! They are just fabulous.   I thought that since I was doing a 1st coloring one of those beautiful digis... it should be combined with another 1st which is Steampunk.  I have seen such amazing creations but I've never done a card using that style.  And when I saw the digi Lady Victoria I just knew that I had to try it out!  Here's my card: To make this card I used a sizzix embossing folder, some Tim Holtz sizzix dies.  And I colored with my copics the gorgeous digi. Here's a closer look at the image: She's really stunning...  I don't think I did her justice but I will keep on practicing and one day maybe it will turn out like it was in m

Happy 5 years anniversary

Wow time sure flies!!!!  This week will be the 5 years anniversary of my SIL and my brother!  So tonight I'm babysitting the beautiful twins ;)))  Very excited about it and hope that I can handle 2 at once... but I'm going with my daughter Megan so at least I will have extra hands! I really wanted to make a card for them and this week while shopping with my friend I found a wonderful stamp on sale for peanuts... or should I say cherries ;) that was perfect for this.  I decided to go CAS for this card. So here it is: I really love how it turned out.  I created the sentiment in word and cut the sentiment as well as the 2 circles with spellbinders nestabilities.  I doodled around the sentiment. The cherries are colored with copics.  Don't they look like they're having fun?!? I really hope that my SIL will not check the internet in the next hour... she's been known to see my post quite fast... so hopefully she's really busy with the twins! I'm enter

I made a card for a friend just because I really really wanted to let her know how very special she is to me and how much I value having her in my life.  Of course this post will be up after I have given it to her ;)  Hope she likes it! I had the opportunity to get a wonderful digi from Scribbles by Sandy.  And when I saw this one called Weighin Diva I just thought she was absolutely perfect.   Here is my card: Isn't she just sooo sweet?  I used my CM corner cutter to do the edges.  Here's a closer look at the sentiment on the card: She was so much fun to play with.  As are all the design from  Scribbles by sandy .  She has awesome sentiments and amazing images.  And always has a few freebies ;))) I followed this sketch: I'm entering this card in the following challenges: Fetch-a-sketch  - Sketch The hybrid chick  - Use pink Paper take weekly  - Anything Goes Art impressions stamps  - Fitness, workout or dieting (thought that image was amazing for i

Altered Art

I did something tonight that I never do... I made something that is completely different than a card.  It's a journal.  This journal will be used to record our camping memories when we go to Vermont camping. I do scrap-booking... and since I'm quite a few years back I figured that it would be fun to have a recording of our 2 weeks of camping.  And of course it can be written by the adults, or my 4 kids.  Which will be fun at a later date to see their handwriting.  Of course since it's in the state Red, White and Blue where perfect colors for this project.   There are so many challenges going on with this color I thought it would be great fun. Here's my journal before I started out: I bought this at the dollar store for 2$.  I then went all out with the paper and the stamp ;) And this is what happened: I used a bunch of leftover paper from all kinds of project including some paper from my Disney scrapbooking album.  I used a CM shape to cut that paper out.

It's so much fun creating in design team.  You get to meet many wonderful and talented individuals.  I can't say ladies... because one of my team has a man ;)  Hello Marc. Within  Tammy scrapin corner  there's a wonderful lady Sassy Raggedy  that makes amazing circle cards.  I've been looking at them for awhile now and finally decided to give it a try.  There was a few challenges that I wanted to enter and this card would do perfectly. Here's my card: This is Butterfly Bliss from Delicious Doodles.  I got it at Stitchy Bear Stamps.  They have such amazing looking digis.  I really love to color them.  This one was colored with copics.  I added copper stickles to the butterflies.  And used a cc die for the other 2 butterflies that are added with a bit of bling.  I also used a spellbinder lacey circle and some leaves under the flower.  The other 2 circles were cut with my circle shape from Creative Memories. Here's a closer look at the image: And of

Tammy's scrapin Corner Challenge # 13

This week at  Tammy scrapin corner  we are being sponsored by  This time our challenge is one for the girls!  Sooooo many possibilities as you can see if you go and check out the wonderful work from my other DT friends!  They have done a terrific job.  Hope you go and let them know. This is my take: This time I have used Scene it - Angels believe from Bugaboo Stamps.  I thought that every girl needs to believe more in herself...My daughter is one of them and that's why I created this card.  I used my CM star border punch to do the border.  And of course I used tons on stickles both on the wings and on the stars.  I also copied the image twice so that I could pop up the angels, the stars and some clouds.  You can see it better here: It was soooo much fun to color as are all the images from Bugaboo.  I so very much {heart} their images. I'm entering this card in the following challenges: Catch the bug blog  - Anything goes Little miss muffet challenges  -
