Digi Makeover challenge # 58

Image
Hello everyone!!!  This is the time for another challenge at   Digi Makeover Challenge !!!  This time it's about silhouettes. And since it's the fall here and close to the winter, I think I chose this image because I would love to have the  spring coming..... yup not much of a fan to winter.... For this card I used paper from Spring Jubilee - Pink paislee.  Just love that paper with the little bird :D  I used a bunch of dies since I didn't have to color anything.  So I used Standard circle and scallop circle by spellbinder.  I also used  my cc design - butterfly.    I also used my memory box - lorelai leaf.  I used wild honey for the edge of the sentiment and the digi. This is the wonderful sentiment from  Create with TLC . Really hope that you will be joining us this week at  Digi Makeover Challenge !  Don't forget to go and check out the wonderful cards from my fellow DTs. For this card I would like to enter it in the following challenges:

DDC # 33 - Alphabet

This week at  Digidarlas  the challenge is the alphabet.  You have to find a letter and do a card that will have something that represent that letter. For my card I went with the letter "B" for Bird!!!! For my card I totally went the lazy route!!!  I found a wonderful digi called Cardinal on Lamp post and chose the colored version :D   But then... I went die crazy... so it ended up taking me more time I think to make the card then usual lol. The paper that I chose for this card is from Basic Grey - Nordic Holiday.  I used my Classic square large, my fleur de lis square and one of the fancy tags 2 from Spellbinder.  I used memory box snowflake border as well as the corner piece.  And I used Nesting ovals by quitcutz for the label.  I added some Robin's nest dew drops and some green gems for more sparkle. Here's a closer look at the wonderful digi.  You can see the shine of the stickles that I added to the lamp post. I added a perfect sentiment for this

Here's a closer look at the fabulous sentiment from  Create with TLC .  I used some ripe persimmon distress ink around it.  It was cut using my label 14. For my 2nd

a little penguin stamping...

A few weeks back I came across the cuuuuuutest little stamp series from Darcie's Heart & Home at my local craft store Scrapbook Centrale.  Now... I don't  use a lot of stamps anymore... but I knew that I just HAD to purchase those.  So I purchased all 3 sets... and the little funny little faces that go with them. They also sell the papers, but I knew that I had lots and that I would want to put my own twist to them... not make them exactly as displayed (what's the fun in that lol at least for me...) So I found a great sketch to follow over at Inspired by stamping and just started creating.  Plus I had made a promise to an on-line friend to participate in some challenges :D  (hope you recognize yourself NanaConnie). For this card I used some paper from Basic Grey - Nordic Holiday.  I used some DCWV- premium cardstock for the glossy blue paper (it's really shiny and really doesn't show much with the camera).  I used Large deckled rectangle to cut out the s

For my 3rd card for the night I'm going back to some Halloween creation.  Yesterday I did the blog hop over at Sassy studio the DT's had such wonderful inspiration that I really wanted to participate in their Halloween bingo.  So I decided to play :D Here's my card. For this card I used some papers from DCWV - Midnight Spell.  I added some die cuts the circle is the standard circle and I used Impression obsession fence die.  The cat, spider and tombstones are all stickers that I purchased yesterday at the dollar store prior to knowing that I would be making this card :D.  Totally love when my purchases come in handy. Here's a closer look at the digi that I colored using my copics as well as pearlescent chalk from Pebbles  to give the glow of the moon.  This is my 1st time doing green hair... and I really liked it!!!  The sentiment is from  Create with TLC I'm entering this card in these challenges: Sassy studio designs  - bingo ( I used fe
