This week at  One stitch at a time challenge  our theme is autumn!  How perfect for this time of year?  I don't  know for you but I'm really loving the warmth of those colors right now!!! For my card I have used the image Tree on Hill from Gingerloft!  Yes today my posts show a lot of trees :D I used Heidi grace design photo mats and some cardstock from BBP.  I used my long classic rectangle and label 21 spellbinder.  Under the sentiment the paper is embossed with a Tim holtz embossing folder.  I added some vintage buttons.  The ribbon comes from the dollar store. The image was so beautiful that I only added some Vintage photo distress ink to age it up.   Here's a look at a sentiment that I got part of the Autumn club from  Create with tlc .  If you have not been part of those clubs what are you waiting for?!?  There's so many goodies that come directly in your mailbox! I also used vintage photo on the sentiment. I'm looking forward to comme

This week at One stitch at a time challenge  the theme is "under 18's". I was lucky to play with Gingerloft's Tree house!  I thought this was the perfect theme image for under 18th! I would have looooooved to have a beautiful tree house like this one when I was young! To make this card I used a bunch of papers that I had purchased at my dollar store.  I also used some recollection cardstock. I used the fretboard embossing folder by Couture creation to create faux wood under the digi.  I also had lots of fun with my dies, I used: Label 21, Wonky rectangles and Label and tags all from Spellbinders.  I added some Robin's Nest Dew drops as well, some buttons and ribbon from my stash. I colored the digi up with my copics and put vintage photo and frayed burlap on the digi and the sentiment. I chose a sentiment from TLC called yesterday today tomorrow.  I thought this was great with this image since when we see a tree house we remember the fun that

This time around I'm showing a card made with a sentiment and an image from Reeces Scrap Pieces called Back 2 School. I didn't do much for this card because I really wanted to showcase the wonderful artwork so kept it CAS.  So I used some paper from a DCWV pack called The high school (fitting right?!?).  I used my spellbinder office supply for the 1st time and thought it really gave a create notebook look to the paper.  I added a little sticker from a dollar store pack. Here's a closer look at the sentiment that I colored using my Prismacolor pencils: And the backpack that I colored using my copics: I really hope that I have inspired y

I decided to go for a monochromatic look for this card.  I thought it would look like a masculine card!  I don't  make a lot of those...  I used papers that I had in my stash and added a button and some twine. My 2nd card is made with an image from Robert Jackson called a hard day's work.  It's definetely fitting for 2 reasons.  The 1st one because I did a lot of shopping while in the states... and the 2nd because today I'm going back to work :( For this card I used some paper from K& Cie and used some pearls from the dollar store.  The sentiment is
