Dutch Dare Card challenge - #180

For Jen's blog hop click here.

Hello Everyone!!!  I haven't made the announcement on my blog but I did post the badge :D  I am now part of the wonderfulDutch Dare Card Challenge.  I'm so very excited about this!!!  I've been playing their challenge for awhile when I could and now I get to be a DT!!!  How very cool is this!

So this week the challenge is Floral Fantasy.  And our wonderful sponsor is
Crafty Sentiments

For my DT card I have used an image that I had used previously but that I really love.  It's from Eureka and it's called Butterfly and Bluebonnet.
I usually would have done this card in blues... but I had a request for it in orange so I was happy to oblige.  I think it turned out good anyway :D.  When you have a beautiful image you can't really go wrong I find.

The paper is from KI- Memories I got it at Michaels I think last year (yup it's a stop on every vacation in the States!) and I used some cardstock from DCWV - bright &Jewels.  Some of the other DP are from my stash (I just love it when I can take some scrap and use it).  I have cut out the image and the paper underneath with Label 1 spellbinder.  I used my scallop and classic circle as well for the sentiment.

Here's a closer look at the digi that I colored using copics.

And a look at the special sentiment that I created for this card.

I hope that I will have the chance to see your wonderful creations for this challenge Dutch dare card challenge.

I've had a lot of trouble finding sentiments in French so I made my own and I thought you might like it :D  So here's it is if you want.  Please send people to my blog to get it and don't share on websites.

I followed this sketch with I adapted a bit to make a 5x7 card:

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
  1. Eureka stamps - Anything goes
  2. Whoopsi Daisy  - 2 patterned papers (I actually used 3 on this card)
  3. Cupcake craft challenges - flowers
  4. Kaboodle doodles - A tribute for someone older than us :D  I would say that celebrating 85 years of age qualifies for this!!!
  5. Sketch saturday - sketch
  6. Lej designs challenge - anything goes
  7. The paper shelter - loads of layers
Hope you have a wonderful Thursday!  We are almost the weekend :D  It's fun to now have a post going up on this day!  And for us... it means a long weekend... it's Labor day!!!!  YAY!!!!

Hugs and don't  forget if you are a follower to join in on my giveaway.  It's the 1st post up there :D
