Jackson's Digital Expression Challenge #22
This week at Jacksons digital expressions our challenge is hosted by the CAS theme and we ask that you use lace and/or pearls in your design. Our wonderful sponsor this week is:
For my 1st card... I messed up and used the old schedule... so went with inches... but I really liked how it turned out and decided to still show it to you guys. I used the Lil Back to School from Robert Jackson.
For my 1st card... I messed up and used the old schedule... so went with inches... but I really liked how it turned out and decided to still show it to you guys. I used the Lil Back to School from Robert Jackson.
The paper comes from My mind's eye - Lime Twist - Out of the blue. I also used some cardstocks from Recollections that I purchased at Michael's. I used Sizzix embossing on it. I was soooo happy to find a way to use this embossing folder :D
I used Label 22 to cut the digi and cardstock out and colored this sweet little girl with my copics.
The sentiment comes from Create with TLC. It's Ticket back to school and was part of the wonderful club that I had joined! When she does clubs you really should join... you really get a ton of wonderful sentiments, digis and paper from it! This one was perfect for this card.
My 2nd card followed the rules of our challenge and used pearls and lace... I didn't do the "or"... but then... I didn't follow a CAS look... somehow I have a problem with doing CAS with lace... oh well we all have our issues lol
For this card I went with a birthday theme as well. So I used some paper that I had from K&Cie you have seen me use it before! It's one of the packs that I've been using the most! I also used BBP cardstock. I used my Grand classic squares from Spellbinder. The lace comes from a local fabric store. The ribbon I got on sale at Michael's over my holidays.
I colored the image with my copics. I used some pearls from the dollar store to create the bubbles. I added some googly eyes for some fun.
For the Birthday fishes I followed this sketch:
