Open Minded Crafting Fun Challenge #10 - Midway post

Hello everyone!  It's finally the weekend.  Wow I've been looking forward to this for a long time!  And it's great because it's a long one here in Canada!

So I'm here right now to share with you a card that I did for the midway post over at Open Minded Crafting Fun Challenge.  This time our challenge for you is a really easy one... it's use some ribbon.  Don't forget you can craft anything so long as it has some ribbons!

Our sponsors for you this time are:
, and
For my card this time around (yup I made a card yet again :) ) I used a great image from Doodle pantry called Holly Land Flowers 3 color plus.  I used the precolored version because I wanted to make a fast little sympathy card.  They are soooo hard to do that I really love the fast option of the colored image.
The paper for this card is from my stash it's a left over piece.  I used my Nesting square doilies from Quickutz.  I also used my large square and my fancy frame tags 2 from Spellbinder.  I added a ribbon from my stash and that's it!

Here's a closer look at the image and the great sentiment from Create with TLC

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
  1. Crafts 4 eternity - To die for - I thought this was funny... I did use the dies... but it's also a sympathy card...
  2. Paula holifield crafts - Flower power
  3. Card a day blog - The thinking of you challenge - because that's what it states.  I didn't think the sympathy would be fitting this time... just the thinking of this friend going through this...
  4. Creatalicious challenges - Frame it
That's it for today!!!  Hopefully after my cleaning I will get to play a bit!  I have some DT work... some ATCs to make for a group that I'm part of... and a request for a special card!

Have a great day!

Hugs

  1. Simply beautiful. I'm always a sucker for a red/black/white colour combo. Pretty image and love that sheer ribbon/bow too! Sorry I haven't been able to keep up with reminders for OMCF but hopefully I've sent a few people your way in the past months.

Good luck getting all your tasks done today!

    Hugs,
    Lisa
