For my card because I made a card this time I used the fabulous Dozy Owl DS0116 - DS4J from Digistamps 4 joy that you can find here.
The paper for this card is from Basic Grey - Hey you. I distressed all the edges with my Tim Holtz distresser. I used my Xcut - Ornate frame 503411. I also used my large labels from Spellbinder. I added a charm from my stash and a bling to it. I finished this off with a ribbon and double bow.

The reason why I used this for a card is because my dad totally loves owls... and Owls represent wisdom. To me, my dad is one of the greatest and wisest man that I know! I paired this image with a sentiment from Decosse Dynamite doodles that I thought would make him laugh because we do ask him lots of questions... and so far he's pretty good at getting the answers :)
Here's a closer look at the digi that I colored with my copics. I edged everything with my gathered twigs distress ink.

I adore this image and you have done such a wonderful job with it. Fab layout and a pretty bow too. I also love that owl charm you added. I'm sure your dad will love it! It is nice to know that you have someone special in your life whose wisdom you've been able to rely on through the years.
