DDC # 15 - Celebrate Dad

Well this is my 2nd post of the day ;)  Busy Monday!  This time it's my card for  Digi darlas  challenge and this week it's Celebrate Dad.  Just in time for Father's day.  Our sponsor this week is one of my favorite store: We had some amazing images to work with please check out the other fabulous card from our other DT.  And some created some amazing cards using Digi darlas images!   I used Glitterbabe - Handyman dad it can be found in Floppy Lattés design store.  It was perfect for my dad's card since he helped us so much with our renovations. I colored him up with my copics and created a sentiment that was fitting for my dad.  I also used unusual embellishments ;)  I went shopping in my husband's garage for some nails, bolts and washers.  Here's a closer look: I just thought it was perfect for this card! Thank you for joining us at our for the girls challenge.  We had lots of entries!!!  It was just fantastic to look at them. Here's my card: This card will be the birthday card for my youngest son ;)  My little William is turning 9 on the 23rd of June.  So I added 9 buttons on the top and the bottom.  I used my copics to color this fun image.  I have added some left over paper from my disney scrapbook album. Today I decided to do some cards this morning... I managed to do 4!!!  woohooo and you are only seeing one ;)  The others are for future DT work. Now as I'm writing this, I'm taking some sun and enjoying my pool! ;)  It's one gorgeous day in MTL.  Great for the Formula 1 race taking place. So one of the cards that I did reminded me big time of my kids lol.  Getting in all kinds of trouble.   When I was looking at Feline Playful this week I came across a new challenge.  And this challenge brought us to all kinds of wonderful freebie images.  One of the sites had this amazing digi called Boy with slingshot.  You can find him here:  Little scraps of heaven .  I was sooo happy to find him he's really adorable: Isn't he so cuuuute even if he's in trouble.  I used my Your next  stamp cloud dies and a bunch of left over paper from miscellaneous projects... Challenge # 20 - Crafting when we can

Thanks for all the wonderful entries last week!  Some gorgeous fashion ideas ;) This week at  Crafting when we can challenges   it's a color combo! Mint chocolate chip!  YUM!!!  And we have an amazing sponsor: I had never had the pleasure of using one of their images before. And ohhhh I will just have to get some! They are just fabulous.   I thought that since I was doing a 1st coloring one of those beautiful digis... it should be combined with another 1st which is Steampunk.  I have seen such amazing creations but I've never done a card using that style.  And when I saw the digi Lady Victoria I just knew that I had to try it out!  Here's my card: To make this card I used a sizzix embossing folder, some Tim Holtz sizzix dies.  And I colored with my copics the gorgeous digi.
