Digi Makeover challenge #60

Image
This week at  Digi Makeover Challenge  our challenge is about layers!  So it's time to layer up your cards. So for my card I used the digi "all about the cake" it was perfect because I needed a birthday card.  So this one was made especially for my wonderful sister-in-law!  I can say it because she has received it. I used a new pad of paper that I really loooove!  It's Jillybean soup - gazpacho soup I bought it at McMahon 5 on sale!  How fantastic!!!  I used a bunch of dies (classic rectangle large, latice rectangle, fancy tag 3 - all from spellbinders as well as Dee's flourish #1).  The flower is from Recollection bought at Michael's.  I added some Robin's Nest Dew drops in silver. Well since my sister-in-law loves chocolat cakes!  I thought it was perfect to color this one as a chocolat cake.So this is done with my copics and I added some stickles to the candle and the wings. Here's the wonderful sentiment from  Create with TLC .  Ju

Hello everyone!  Welcome to another post for my  Digi Darlas  DT card.  This time our challenge is "white delight"!  Got to admit that when I read that... I started to have palpitations lol... not very fond of white... love it in small dose but to do an entire card.... that's much harder for me! So I thought and and thought some more and then I came across this most fantastic digi called Angel up!!!  Oh that was all that was required for my inspiration to come lol So for this card I used some paper from BBP.  I decided to do some embossing so that there would be some texture, so used the divine swirl Cuttlebug divine swirl embossing folder.  I used some buttons that I stacked up and I added a little Robin's Nest Dew drop pearls.  The ribbon is from my stash.  To cut out the wonderful digi I used my floral oval. I colored just a bit my image with copics and added some stickles to it.    She's soooo pretty that she really doesn't need much. So will

Today at One stitch at a time challenge  is Make 1 for Christmas!  So this is the perfect reason to start making those Christmas cards :D  I know that I'm trying to use all the possible excuses right now to get ahead lol For my card I had the pleasure of using Wish upon a star from Kaz Kraftz.  It comes as a set with or without the star!  But I thought it was wonderful with this gorgeous star. For this card I used paper from My mind's eye - The merry days of Christmas.  I also used some BBP cardstock.  The digi and the paper underneath were cut using my label 12 by spellbinder.  I used a cuttlebug embossing folder for the blue paper.  I added some ribbon from my stash and so is the charm that I used.  I used some Flower soft for the snow.  I added some snowflakes cut with my MS punch and I put a little Robin's nest dew drop to it. Here's a closer look at the digi colored with my copics.  I put some stickles on the star. Here's a wonderful sentiment f
