Well the new showcase challenge over at Art By Mi Ran  for us is anything but a square card!  So I thought this would be the perfect time to work on my vacation smash book.  Last year I did all the page while camping... but that was stressful to have to find embellishments for them.  This year I'm thinking that I will embellish a bunch ahead of time. The image that I used is  Cocktail Anne  and I thought she would be totally perfect for a vacation smash book.  She doesn't get much more vacation than that! I used a bunch of Project life cards to make a story to go with her and I think I did manage to make this quite the summer book!

Hello everyone!  It's time for my last post for the great team  Top Tip Tuesday  they are a totally awesome group of ladies!!!  And now I will be playing in their challenge! The challenge this time around is Cut it and it's sponsored by Shape EZ.  For my make I used the great   EZ Poinsettia Tip: If you don't have a cutting machine or like me are too lazy to hook it up you can just have fun and print it out like other regular digis. I used paper from Authentique Believe.  I sprayed the printed digi with some Heidi Swapp pink mist then once it was dried I cut it up and then sprayed it with water with some glycerin in it.... And I crumpled the flowers.  It makes them look more like fabric.  I used a little bling for the center of it.  The edge were all done with the sharpie pen.  I used my new Sizzix ornate labels to cut out the great sentiment from  Create with TLC .  The doily was part of my pack this month from La land craft club. OMG I'm writing this post with only 5 minutes to spare.... I had such a great weekend in the company of the super talented and amazing all around person Paola Jofre!  But this means that my post is not done.... and yeah... good thing I know the boss lady and I think that I have a good excuse for being late lol It was such an amazing weekend.... went by WAY too fast but now I feel like I've been hit by a bus... I knew this would happen because I'm not supposed to be doing anything due to the depression and when I do it empties out my reserve way too fast... but this was planned from 2 months ago... and there was no way unless I was in a coffin that I would miss this!  So now this week will be all about doing NOTHING for real.... and just sleeping lol  but the wonderful memories will get me going. Enough about me I only now have 1 minute to the deadline.... on man I will be late.... yikes... oh well.... It's time to share some fab new release over at  My Whimsical l

Hello everyone!  I'm here to share with you one of the latest new set from  Doodle Pantry . The one that I decided to share today with you is a great sentiment from the set Twain Quips I thought it would be totally great on one of my journal page that I had started to prep The background was done with some Tim Holtz torn dissue paper.  I added some washi tapes, some book paper that I used to clean my brushes.  I did some spraying on the background with some of my Heidi swap sprays.  I used my nesting square rounded and my nesting frame 1 from Quickutz for this.  The edge of the quote is done with some Old road prima chalk. Well it's time for me to remind you about our challenge of Karleigh Sue Digis over  here  were we are all buttoning it up.... or unbuttoning them lol depends how you are seeing it... don't forget this is a sexy challenge make! This time around I did a little journaling with the great image   Hot date  and wow I wish I looked like this! I used some home made alcool inks to make the background on  this.

OMG this is soooo not me... I didn't schedule or even make my post yesterday because I was busy crying.... the weening of the meds is making me a mess! Bad thoughts are back and yeah just not good all around.  Good thing that I have my family that is there and my friends that kept me busy with lots of little message of love.  And of course the sleeping pills that do zonk me out so that at least while sleeping I'm not in my bad place. Anyway all this to say that I didn't prepare my post for the East Wind.  I'm pretty sure however that Unky will forgive me for being late... it's not like I'm usually late and my item was done.  This time around again I made a little ICAD I just love working with that size!!!!  I need to go and purchase a little gelli plate to be able to make smaller backgrounds.  It's fun the big one but it's a bit overwhelming for me right now.... Anyway (just realize that I repeat myself....sorry.... you are getting it as it is today)
