Betty Cockus Call me maybe

OMG this is soooo not me... I didn't schedule or even make my post yesterday because I was busy crying.... the weening of the meds is making me a mess! Bad thoughts are back and yeah just not good all around.  Good thing that I have my family that is there and my friends that kept me busy with lots of little message of love.  And of course the sleeping pills that do zonk me out so that at least while sleeping I'm not in my bad place.

Anyway all this to say that I didn't prepare my post for the East Wind.  I'm pretty sure however that Unky will forgive me for being late... it's not like I'm usually late and my item was done.  This time around again I made a little ICAD I just love working with that size!!!!  I need to go and purchase a little gelli plate to be able to make smaller backgrounds.  It's fun the big one but it's a bit overwhelming for me right now....

Anyway (just realize that I repeat myself....sorry.... you are getting it as it is today) here's the super fun Betty Cockus call me maybe


The background was made using my gelatos red cherry, mango, bubble gum and orange soda.  I used some washi tape from my stash.  I used some little alphabets that I had to stamp out the message.  The image was colored with my copics and then fussy cut.

I'm entering this in the following challenges:

  1. Clear it out challenge - anything goes and stash item my washi tape.... I have so much and rarely use it!!!  Starting too now :)
  2. Ikes world challenge blog - Lyrics - it's the call me maybe song from Carly Rae Jepsen - I had that song the whole time in my head lol and I thought it was fitting with this image :)
  3. Pile it on challenge - focus on coloring - well not only did I color the image but I made the background
Well that's it and very sorry that I'm late....  Please think of me while I'm going off the meds and until I'm on the new ones....

    Love the colours you went with Vicky. I had a look at gelatos the other day but i stepped away....I bet they are fun to use though. :) Have a fab day

DDC#47 - Winter blues

Hello everyone!  It's time for another challenge over at  Digi darlas !  This time it's about winter blues!  Yup I've got them by now.... just really really hate winter and looking forward to the warmth coming back. So for my card I used the digi Country star snowman. For my card I used paper from my mind's eye - be merry.  I used my label 28, scallop circle and standard circle.  I added some foam snowflakes.  The ribbon is from EK success - fun fibers and was part of a package I received from Rhonda Sue!!!  Thank you my dear see it's quite useful!
