New release over at Doodle Pantry - June 5 2015

Hello everyone!  I'm here to share with you one of the latest new set from Doodle Pantry.

The one that I decided to share today with you is a great sentiment from the set Twain Quips
I thought it would be totally great on one of my journal page that I had started to prep
The background was done with some Tim Holtz torn dissue paper.  I added some washi tapes, some book paper that I used to clean my brushes.  I did some spraying on the background with some of my Heidi swap sprays.  I used my nesting square rounded and my nesting frame 1 from Quickutz for this.  The edge of the quote is done with some Old road prima chalk.

I'm entering this little journal page in the following challenges:

  1. Word art wednesday - Anything goes family friendly
  2. Crafting by designs - Anything goes
  3. Lil red wagon - Use it up - the Tim Holtz tissue paper.... I tend to hoard it like the washi tapes....
  4. The male room challenge blog - Washi tape - and yeah.... I think my page has a masculine feel to it....

    Hi Vicky! I think your journal page has a masucline feel too. Great colours, lovely texture, super quote and I love the way you've used the Washi too! Thanks so much for playing along with The Male Room this week!

DDC#47 - Winter blues

Hello everyone!  It's time for another challenge over at  Digi darlas !  This time it's about winter blues!  Yup I've got them by now.... just really really hate winter and looking forward to the warmth coming back. So for my card I used the digi Country star snowman. For my card I used paper from my mind's eye - be merry.  I used my label 28, scallop circle and standard circle.  I added some foam snowflakes.  The ribbon is from EK success - fun fibers and was part of a package I received from Rhonda Sue!!!  Thank you my dear see it's quite useful!
