Graduate - New release from MWLW
OMG I'm writing this post with only 5 minutes to spare.... I had such a great weekend in the company of the super talented and amazing all around person Paola Jofre! But this means that my post is not done.... and yeah... good thing I know the boss lady and I think that I have a good excuse for being late lol
It was such an amazing weekend.... went by WAY too fast but now I feel like I've been hit by a bus... I knew this would happen because I'm not supposed to be doing anything due to the depression and when I do it empties out my reserve way too fast... but this was planned from 2 months ago... and there was no way unless I was in a coffin that I would miss this! So now this week will be all about doing NOTHING for real.... and just sleeping lol but the wonderful memories will get me going.
Enough about me I only now have 1 minute to the deadline.... on man I will be late.... yikes... oh well....
It's time to share some fab new release over at My Whimsical little world where you can find some great freebies!!!!
This time the release is about graduation! I'm using the Grad boy because my youngest is graduating from elementary school.... snif snif no more baby for me.... but there's also a super sweet Grad girl if that's what you need!
I made this card pretty fast because I was trying to get ready for the crop. But I still wanted it special because it's for my son! And he keeps all my cards lol so sweet :)
I used paper from BBP school days. I love that it's bright and fun because let's be honest it's not university that he's graduating from lol. I used my Super elipse from Spellbinder to make this. I added a bunch of different elements from October afternoon - milk money (I just hoard October afternoon stuff... just love love love it). I used old road prima chalk to edge the sentiment and the image.
Here's a closer look at the super cute digi colored with my copics. The great sentiments are from Create with TLC and they were part of the great June mega club! If you missed it you don't want to miss the next one... Paulette always has some fab digi sentiment for you.
I really hope that my son likes it!!!!
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
