Hello everyone!  Hope you had a great day and a great night.  I felt better today... yesterday I was home sick :(  Huge headache... so I spent most of the day in bed... Anyway I'm here tonight to share with you a little card I had done earlier this week for the challenge over at Opal manor .  I got this very cute image and I've been grabbing her images as much as possible since they are total cuties... but now I needed to play along lol  and well... I made a booboo when I did this originally... I was sooo proud of my coloring... the gorgeous red hat and red present.... but we are not to use RED in the challenge... oops... so I added some blue to it to make it a dark purple lol And if you don't  know the image you really should check her out... and if you have the chance check out the video of her drawing.  It's pure genius!!!

Hostess Monday Digital Delight

Image
Hello everyone!  This is my 1st time doing Hostess Mondays... totally anxious here lol Ever since Wendy mentioned that it was my turn to host I've been wondering what in the world I could share with you ;o)  I'm really really awful at doing a tutorial!!!  Actually this is my 1st ever!!!  So please be gentle with me. I've been having fun doing some other items than cards recently.  So I figured I could share with you a little tutorial doing a corner bookmark.  I intend on putting those in the Christmas stockings of my kids. Here's the 1st picture of the dimensions that I have used. Basically you do 3 squares of 2 1/2 inches each.  You also do a diagonal line through 2 of them and you will be cutting out those corners. You can see here what I have cut out of the image I used that cut-out to trace the cardstock in color.  Then I folded the corners. And here's the image called Penguin topper that you can find in the following bundles.

Thanksgiving

Anyway while I was looking over the stuff that I had to do I realized that I was at the deadline for entering the sweet Thanksgiving image of  Chi Chi Memories . So I put my butt in gear and got going lol.  And here's my creation with this.  It's one very heavy card because there's lots of layering to it!!!

So I'm here to share with you a little card that I made for the doodle pantry challenge.  Just love getting the possibility of a brand new set of images for free just as a thank you for participating.  And I had some need for some masculine birthday cards.  So I figured this was the perfect opportunity for this. This is not the 1st time that I used the Wagon wheel colored but this is another version of it.

Hello.  So how was your Saturday?  Mine was spent doing some errand, some cleaning and laudry and finally some play time!!! And I'm here to share with you one of the items that I did to play!!!  I have been doing little cards as you will have seen on my blog in the recent month.  I had purchased a little set of cards from Bureau en Gros our French Staples ;o)  it was on sell at 10 cards for 97 cents.  You can't get much better than that.  They are blank on the inside and had 2 little heart intertwine on the outside with a little silver border.  Now I didn't  want to keep the little heart... I meant to make these more personal.  So here's my 1st card. I have found a great challenge and vintage store while doing my DT touring.  It's  Crafty Secrets .  And if you play along with them well you get a voucher to use in their store for some more goodies.  So I purchased a little set to play along.  I've been meaning to play for a little while... but their challenge

On each great sheet of digis there are 2 set of images.  This is the preview I have printed the sheet twice so that I can do the 2 sides of this little Christmas ball with the same image.  So here's a look at the sweet rabbit.  I used some vintage photo distress ink on the sides this time.  I wanted a more distress look.  I used a little ribbon in my stash.
