Masculine Birthday card

Hello!  It's Sunday morning.  I'm blogging a bit before going to craft.  It's a rainy morning so just perfect with a cup of coffee, a little fire going on in the fireplace as well.

So I'm here to share with you a little card that I made for the doodle pantry challenge.  Just love getting the possibility of a brand new set of images for free just as a thank you for participating.  And I had some need for some masculine birthday cards.  So I figured this was the perfect opportunity for this.

This is not the 1st time that I used the Wagon wheel colored but this is another version of it.

The paper is from Studio Calico - American Craft - Yearbook.  I used my grand ovals, scallop and large circle from Spellbinder.  I added some little stickers to the side of the b-day.  Stappled the bottom and the top to follow a sketch that I will be sharing at the bottom.

Here's a closer look at the pre-colored digi and the sentiment which is from Create with TLC
Here's the great sketch that I followed I turned it on it side:

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

  1. Tuesday morning sketches - Sketch
  2. Doodle pantry blog - Any digi go but I used a doodle pantry one... and why wouldn't you to get the great set for free if you do?!?  That's totally a win in my book. ;o)
  3. Seize the birthday - Birthday - use texture - I have the staples for some different texture
That's it for this post... I will be back with another one.

I’m doing a little giveaway to celebrate 450 followers come and join in http://crafting-vicky.blogspot.ca/2013/10/giveaway-celebration-for-450-followers.html

  4. Yes, it is a perfect masculine card....something I don't do enough of so thank you for the inspiration. A wagon wheel agains a fence seems to always speak a story....hard work, long hours, but food on the table and trips taken on a wagon. Thank you for sharing and joining the November Doodle Pantry Challenge #40.
