A little song bird
Hello. So how was your Saturday? Mine was spent doing some errand, some cleaning and laudry and finally some play time!!!
And I'm here to share with you one of the items that I did to play!!! I have been doing little cards as you will have seen on my blog in the recent month. I had purchased a little set of cards from Bureau en Gros our French Staples ;o) it was on sell at 10 cards for 97 cents. You can't get much better than that. They are blank on the inside and had 2 little heart intertwine on the outside with a little silver border. Now I didn't want to keep the little heart... I meant to make these more personal. So here's my 1st card.
I have found a great challenge and vintage store while doing my DT touring. It's Crafty Secrets. And if you play along with them well you get a voucher to use in their store for some more goodies. So I purchased a little set to play along. I've been meaning to play for a little while... but their challenges don't last for a long time... and I was always off lol
The set that I purchase has a little bird and some music lines. So I used those. I'm sure that I will use the other digis from the set at a later date.
I left it fairly simple. I used some leftover paper. That's one of the great benefit of those smaller cards!!! You can use the little bits and pieces that you have. I stamped the word "merci" on the bottom part of the dp. I have need for little thank you card and I thought this would make a perfect one. I tore the music part and used my Label 19 for the little bird. Everything was edged with my vintage photo.
Here's a closer look at the great digis:

This is so lovely card Vicky! Fabulous colors and great layout!
ReplyDeleteMagnificent, Vicky! I love that background paper and your music image is perfect with that adorable bird. :-D
ReplyDeleteOkay, first off about the teeny tiny card--it's fabulous! Love the little birdie and the music sheet. Another great thank you card.
ReplyDeleteNow I may have to just stop coming here because you've turned me on to ANOTHER fabulous site with oodles of wonderful vintage freebies. ;o) I also love that simply by entering you get a gift voucher for the store. I'll have to create a couple projects and set them aside until there is another linky party. Hopefully there are no themes and it is simply using one of their images. Man...something new to add to my to do list. God willing I get another 90 years because at this rate I'm going to need it!
Hugs,
Lisa
