The Blog Candy being offered this month is a machine-embroidered angel which can be used as a bookmark or an early start to decorate your Christmas Tree!!!! Winner gets to chose the color of her angel from pink, white, ivory, or gold.

Ok so for my 1st creation of the day I made a bookmark!  I'm doing book lover day after all.  I figured this would be a great gift to a special someone in my life for Christmas... hope she's not reading this or not understanding the English lol.  So I know she loves coffee... so this digi was just perfect and what's better than coffee and a book... well other than wine... rofl.

The digi is from Mi Ran you can find it here and it's only 2$ how fabulous right?!?  She's also having a FB giveaway here so check it out.

Ok so since this is a bookmark I was able to use all scraps!!! Love doing that.  Even the embossed part was a little leftover.  That really shows that you can keep and reuse all the tiny parts you have... the bad thing is that my bin is overflowing with the tiny parts lol  The bookmark itself was made using my Cameo and I added some ribbons from my stash.

I used lavender and purple shades... she seemed to call for those.  I just had soooo much fun coloring this image up with my copics.  It was colored last weekend while I was with friends see my WOYWW post of this week for the details. The 2 sentiments are from Create with TLC and they seemed to just call to be there!
The next date that I was covering was Shopping reminder day... but I really don't need any reminding of shopping... lol And what is more perfect than an image related to Christmas?!?  Don't we have looooots of shopping to do for Christmas?  So this is again another great digi from Mi Ran that you can find here.  I brought this one to work and it was grabbed already lol but got to admit this digi is just stunning.... well as all her digis are... and did I tell you I have the pleasure of designing for her?!?  She was looking for 5 designers and I lucked out!!!!  wooohooo... so you will be seeing lots more of her fabulous work on this blog stay tuned.

So for this card I used papers from Pebbles - Welcome Christmas.  I used my grand square, my grand scallop square and my label 14 all from Spellbinder.  I also used my memory box snowflake corner.  I added a lot of little pearls on that die cut.  The ribbon is from the Dollarstore.  I need to go and find some more red... I have a feeling I will be running out soon.... lol

Here's a closer look at the digi colored with my copics.  I added a bunch of stickles to the hat.  Love the effect.  I also added a sentiment from Create with TLC.  It was part of the great club for Christmas!!!!  If you were not part of it you really missed out on lots of fabulous sentiments.  I was sooooo happy with this French one!  Just perfect for all my upcoming cards.  BTW there's a new club out and you get to give one out to a friend.  Check it out here.  It really doesn't get much better than this.
Your next stop along the way is the fabulous Jearise . Don't forget to stop back next month on December 14th for the last Calendar Girls Day of the Year.

I'm entering my little Christmas card in the following challenges:
  1. Jingle belles rock - Holiday traditions - I just adore Christmas.  My favorite tradition is the day before we leave to go to my family Santa has come and put lots of goodies in the stockings and some little gifts for each of the kids (pretty much like she's carying) under the tree.  And the kids open those up while wearing the brand new pyjama that Santa's elves left them the night before on their bed.
  2. Holly jolly christmas challenge - Traditional Christmas colors
  3. C.R.A.F.T. - Christmas
  4. Crafty little fairies challenge - Christmas
I have another post coming up so I hope that you will be back for it later.  And I really hope you get to have fun crafting this weekend!!!  That's what got me through the week lol

Congrats on the new position although I have no idea how you are fitting it in with everything on your plate these days. I'm looking forward to seeing more creations from this designer from you. I'm unfamiliar with her work.
